The portions were great! We got one plate of 2 pieces of chicken, subbed the bread for a waffle, and it had two sides that came with it. It was enough for two of us to split. The waffle and mac n cheese were great! The seasoning on the chicken (we got Nashville) tasted more burnt than flavorful. But the service was fantastic and the outside seating was nice! We would definitely go back!

The ambiance is fantastic, providing a pleasant setting to unwind on “the porch” where you can enjoy playing cornhole. The atmosphere is certainly suitable for children. The chicken was not just spicy, but it was very spicy, adding an extra kick to the flavorful dish.

This place is so unique. I came here on a weekend visit. I love being able to sit outside. Service was super fast and friendly. The food was also very good. I have a shellfish allergy and all items are cooked separately in soy bean oil.

Porch is hands down a must when on SSI, we’ll definitely be back. My wife had the chicken and waffles and I had the Nashville Hot chicken (tasted Great) and the Napalm chicken (Carolina Reaper and the hottest thing I’ve eaten in two hemispheres). We loved the environment, it was super family friendly, and in the mix of all Saint Simons has to offer! Pimento cheese grits made it even better!

I got chicken, tater tots, cole slaw, and a piece of toast combo for 12.99 which the cheap price on the chicken combo confused me.. once I got the food it made sense. The chicken price is cheap because the chicken is cheap.

Porch hits all the marks for our family. Food, atmosphere, and service are outstanding. Highly recommend the Frose (frozen rose wine). Especially if you’ll be eating the hot chicken. Nice to follow that heat with a frozen drink. I recommend the Nashville hot chicken or under. The napalm hot chicken is not enjoyable. If you just gotta try it out of curiosity, then order one tender and try it at the end of your meal, trust me. And have a cold drink ready. My husband described it as “painful.” Apparently they have a regular there who eats the napalm hot chicken like it’s nothing, she must have a cast iron stomach. The chicken tenders are huge by the way. And they’re cooked to perfection. Very juicy. I’ll say this about hot chicken though, it’s not very saucy. You can dip it in the ranch of course, but aside from that it’s rolled in the spices. It’s great. But I’m considering smuggling in some hot honey sauce to quietly drizzle over it and pray that the staff doesn’t judge me. The sides are outstanding. They the banana pudding, greens, and pimento cheese grits! Fair warning, this place is not a cheap eat. It’s not the most expensive either, but we easily top $75 each time we go there for two adult meals, one child, and a couple of alcoholic drinks (the frose)! But, it’s worth the splurge. Big wrap around porch, plenty of well spaced seating, the wrap around porch is screened in, and there is seating in the yard too. Family friendly. Kids play area out front in the yard. Parking can be tricky. I recommend going during off hours like for an early dinner or late lunch.

We ate here for the first time Monday evening. Our server was Amanda and she was amazing. She had great recommendations and it turns out she is a foodie just like me. Loved the motherclucker sandwich and the Brussels sprouts were amazing. Can’t wait to go eat there again
