We went here after doing a search for a Taco House near me while running an errand. It was a great suggestion. Restaurant is very clean, was busy but had enough tables with no waiting. Service was fast, and the food was delicious. Tacos were packed, and it was all great tasting. Tortillas were fluffy and delicious. Tea and coffee were fresh. We will be making the trip to this Taco House from here on out.

I recently dined at the Taco House in San Antonio, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The standout feature of this establishment has to be their breakfast tacos, which are some of the best I’ve had in the city. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the ingredients tasted fresh and high-quality.

When in San Antonio this is my place for breakfast tacos. Homemade tortillas, loaded tacos, reasonable prices.

To start off, you have to order where the menu is off to the left, you have to get up to refill your own drinks, get your own silverware and when you’re done you leave your stuff on the table which I don’t mind, its just different. The reason for the 4 stars is because this is a breakfast place and one of the most popular items is the potato and egg. IF YOU GET POTATO AND EGG the potato will NOT be seasoned OR toasted, it’ll be just like a boiled potato so if you like potato and egg with semi toasted potatos, you might have to specially request it.

My friends and I were visiting San Antonio and searched for the best breakfast tacos in town, this place came up with great reviews. If you are in the same boat we were, maybe try some place else. The tortillas were great, the salsa was ok, and the churro donut was good. Everything else was super bland, no flavor, lacking ingredients one would normally expect in something like a migas or barbacoa taco. I got an egg, bean, and potato taco (asked for cheese but it wasn’t in there) with a side of guac and none of those things had flavor! My friend got a migas taco and the migas were just eggs and chips, not a tomato, onion, seasoning, or sauce in sight. My friend’s chorizo and barbacoa tacos looked like nearly identical mystery meats. The coffee was also flavorless All in all, we were all pretty disappointed, wishing we would have saved our hunger for a different taco place.

Still San Antonio’s best place for tacos !! It has been about 4 years since I was last there and they seriously stepped up their taco game. I used to be able to eat 3 tacos no problem. This time they were so filled that I could only finish 2.

Too often (for me), I see long lines and packed parking lot here. Well, the reason is because the food is amazing!! The tortillas are, no kidding, probably the best in town.
