Once again I’m overwhelmed by the quality and good flavor. Chicken is always moist and cooked all the way through. Sides are fantastic. Servers are a plus, friendly, efficient and at least one should be on TV competing with her wonderful voice. She can hold a tune.

I’ve been to this location quite a few times. The main times that I have been to this place word for birthdays. The atmosphere is just so good and no matter who the waitress is or who the waiter is they really have just a great sense of humor, and they know how to make you smile. The atmosphere when it’s a birthday event is great as well. Especially when you get to bite down on that little big, and you wear this thing on your head or I can’t remember what it is really like but you can bike down on this thing and they chant the happy birthday stuff right there. And it feels good every time. Now let’s get onto the food. first I want to start off with their chicken fried steaks. The chicken fried steaks have a nice clean taste to it and it taste really good. The crispiness of the chicken fried steaks is wonderful and there’s no denying it. Next is the catfish. The catfish is really awesome. It’s a really nice size to it as well and the sides that come with it like let’s say the green beans for example, tastes really good as well. And the plates are just a great size for all the stuff on that. If you get the catfish, let me just tell you it is going to be worth it. Drinks like sweet tea. Dr Pepper. Water. Cokes. all my family members say is good. I love to get their Dr Pepper’s and it’s pretty good. No it’s very good. No matter if you get the catfish. No matter if you get the chicken fried steak. The chicken strips. Whatever you get is going to be great. And when you run out of the drink, there’s so courteous to fill it back up for you when you ask them to. I will be coming back again soon.

Babes is a unique place to eat. The atmosphere is one of a kind. The servers are very nice and polite. They have the best chicken fried steak I’ve ever had. Catfish is also very good. All the veggies are served family style and keep ‘em coming because they are so good. The biscuits and honey are sinfully good. Don’t miss out on this Texas treasure.

We came in a bit early so they weren’t busy yet. We ordered and received our food quickly. It was hot and fresh. They have many options for gluten free and my family enjoyed the meal. The smoked chicken was wonderful and loved that the sides were constantly refilled with fresh made servings. My only complaint is I would love to have another dressing option or no dressing at all, theirs is a bit over powering before the meal.
