I had a recent reservation to have dinner at the Barrel Room in Chesapeake with a group of friends. The room presence a dim ambience, along with pub seating by the bar for those interested in beer, cocktail, and or wine. The servers were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making sure that our party of seven was comfortable and well taken care of throughout the evening.

I went here for a girl’s night out and had a blast. The prices are good compared to the quality of food. I got the tuna special and it was delicious! The drinks are tasty too. Def worth stopping by and enjoying some good food n drinks. The restaurant is clean and well decorated. The staff was very friendly.

Enjoyed a night out with the girls reminiscing with Frank singing Frank Sinatra. Frank was great! Service was prompt and extremely friendly. Drinks were as expected. I was not overwhelmed with the food however. The potato soup was more like a bowl of mashed potatoes and seriously you could eat it with a fork. The Brussel sprouts were not cooked enough and almost raw. I enjoyed the evening but next time I will come for just drinks and entertainment.

I actually really enjoy this place and have brought multiple friends here to eat. I love the set up and the appetizers are so good, especially the southwestern egg rolls. The martinis are also good but unfortunately on my last visit, there were 2 ants in my drink. Ended up still paying for the drink on top of that.

This place is just way over priced. And please note that a lot of these reviews are not for this place. Expect to spend $70 for two people here. Everything on the menu should be priced 15-20% less. You will see this place will never be crowded.

Most of the food is pretty good but the fish and chips were greasy and unappetizing. When I told the waitress that my grandchild couldn’t eat it, you would think they would offer to take some off the check. For the prices, one would think that the food would be top quality. Clean and nice atmosphere but not one of the best in the area.

My husband and I ended up here on Valentine’s Day as they were able to fit in a reservation for us pretty close to the holiday. I had probably the best burger of my entire life. I couldn’t even tell you what it was called or what it had on it but the actual Burger part was the juiciest, most flavorful Burger I’ve ever had! However, my husband’s dinner was less than desirable. It was some kind of Cajun pasta that had barely any flavor at all. We were both pretty disappointed in that one.

I would definitely return to this establishment. No wait, and the ticket times were extremely fast. The drinks were good and the waitstaff was extremely friendly.
