I’ve eaten here a couple of times and I feel like this place is kind of a hidden gem at Oakbrook. The quality of the food (for the most part) is super impressive and always fresh. Their French fries are probably my favorite part of every meal there, so so good. Not so good are the taco appetizers (they are tiny and come in a crunchy shell, don’t let the menu fool you). Also one star off for the slow service we had today, it took us about 30 min after we were done with our food to close our bill. Otherwise great place and great food if you can catch it at a less busy time!

Came here midday on a Saturday and was sat right away. Our server didn’t greet us for at least 6-7 minutes but was helping out the table right next to us the entire time — could’ve at least told us she’d be right over. Our coffee was cold and had to be remade. Monkey bread appetizer was good, except for about 1/3 of the bread pieces being burnt and hard. Waited 20 more minutes for our food after the appetizer came, even though the restaurant was not busy at all. Eggs benedict came out lukewarm, borderline cold and the egg was hard boiled rather than poached. Not very much hollandaise sauce on it either. Overall a pretty bad experience, food was not good and very overpriced and the service was very slow.

Pit Stop. What a wonderful cafe tucked in the corner of Nordstrom. Great for grabbing a meal in the middle of shopping at the Mall. Beats anything else around here! Great Service. Clean Restaurant!

We have gone to the cafe in Nordstrom for probably the last 15 years since our children were quite young. It is a great place to bring kids and have really good quality food served in quick fashion. Now that the kids are grown, we still enjoy going because we’re nowhere going to get delicious meal at reasonable prices served quickly. There is also rarely a wait for a table. The servers are always friendly and professional. If you happen to go in October, the pumpkin cupcakes with cream cheese frosting are one of the best desserts we’ve ever enjoyed. A go to location anytime. We’re hungry and want to be assured we can get seated quickly.

Thank you for a beautiful day at Ruscellos. Our service by Kristen was excellent. Very kind and professional. She is ready to do whatever it takes to make your experience Excellent. And the amazing food choices were hard to choose from. We had appetizers, the salmon Nicqua salad, shrimp and pasta, chicken Pomodoro… It was all fantastic. We finished with the chocolate heath cake and coffee. Shopping at Nordstrom’s is always such a fun uplifting experience and to highlight that with a meal at Ruscellos made the day perfect.
