Great food with friendly service. It was horribly hot inside so the options were hot or noisy fan. Despite that we enjoyed several delicious drinks and excellent food. Everything was made properly and in the time expected. It is the typical olde style all wood with worn edges. We look forward to going back. There was also a holding period were we could not order food for 30 minutes as they were switching between breakfast and lunch.

I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture. The orchid burger was great!! Everything our table of 6 got was really great!! Our waiter, Andre (I think was his name), was fabulous! By far the best server we had on our trip to RI! He was always anticipating what you would need/want and kept our water glasses filled! Definitely recommend eating at this restaurant when visiting Block Island!

Great place for food and cocktails before getting the ferry as you can see the ferry from the beautiful deck. Strongly recommend stopping by when on the island. Such a Mixture of staff from all over the world great to hear all the accents while chatting to all the friendly servers. You have to try their famous mudslides – banana & butterscotch with a floater is my favourite.

The food was great! I had the steak and fries and the steak was cooked exceptionally well. The fries were also good. Beautiful view and atmosphere. The service was very quick, but our server wasn’t very attentive, never came to check on us for refills and seemingly avoided stopping by our table until we finished eating. I would still come back though!

Me and my friend visited Block Island today for the first time. Our waiter for lunch was Daniel; the service he provided for us was exceptional. Me and my friend regularly go out to eat and we have not experienced such a good atmosphere as Daniel provided for us. He was very polite and treated us with such respect and made sure our table was taken care of. The service was so exceptional I barely write reviews but I had to write a review just to mention how good Daniel’s service is. He deserves a raise.

We like the Harbor side for a bite to eat during the day while on Block Island. Their seafood chowder is pretty good, and the portions on the kids menu are very generous. Daniel waited on us twice in the past two weeks and always gave us impeccable service.

Our family makes it a yearly tradition to do a mudslide crawl around the island to enjoy everyone’s different takes and interpretations. We love the flavors (raspberry is awesome) and presentation of the mudslides, and you can’t beat the view of town and the harbor!

Unfortunately, even with a reservation and spending 45 minutes at the restaurant, I was unable to eat here. Although they are advertised on google as a “classic setting for American dining and brunch”, the morning menu ends at 11am and switches to the lunch & dinner menu. That being said, we were told that because of the turnover they won’t be serving food between 11 and 11:30. This was especially disappointing because we had an 11am reservation (why they would take a reservation for a time when food isn’t being served is beyond me). We arrived early and were invited to order breakfast at the lounge tables on the deck, but eating a meal there would’ve been impractical due to the nature of the table setup (coffee tables). Because we had a reservation we were promised the next table that opened up, but even as tables opened we weren’t sat. My party of two waited until 11:25 before giving up and heading to a lovely lunch at Ballards. The food could’ve been great for all I know, but don’t expect the words “brunch” or “reservation” to mean much here.

Had a fabulous dinner and cocktails at Harbor Grill! Our waiter Daniel and the bartender were both excellent… 4 of us visiting from Vermont- hoping to dine on the deck but was raining so we sat inside. Salmon was excellent and Filet Mignon cooked perfectly. Chocolate cake was outstanding.

Food was terrible. My husband ordered their special a New York strip steak. He only ate a few bites. Never ate his meal and he was so hungry as we only had a granola bar for lunch at the bed-and-breakfast provides a big breakfast every morning where we stay
