This is a new management from what I can tell. New menu. Very big, lots of choices. Service was good. Food was good, especially the Choriqueso. (Chorizo and cheese dip). Lots of Chorizo diced onions and tomatoes. The cheese sauce was a white sauce. Smooth and velvety. I thought the Guacamole salad that came with my daughter’s Taquitos was a nice touch. Something different. On the other hand, my sons Quesadilla came covered in a mild red sauce. Completely covered. Not what we were expecting. My plates. That’s right plates!! (See pics). Had a taco, a tostada, an enchilada, a burrito, Chile relleno, and beans and rice. 3 plates in all. It was good, although I thought the burrito should have had some beans along with the ground beef in it. It also was covered completely in a mild red sauce. Didn’t expect that either. The enchilada was just a tortilla with ground beef in it covered in enchilada sauce. Barely any cheese. All in all it was good but I grew up with Tex Mex style Mexican food in restaurants. Like Lil Cancun or Taco Loco in Romines. Wish they were a bit more like them.

This was fantastic Mexican food. The food arrived extremely fast and was very nice when we got it. Good rice and beans, but the main entree’s really nailed it. The service was a bit inconsistent, but I think that was a one-off as it was getting busy. As for atmosphere, I also rated that a little lower because it felt like it was for a different restaurant, but still a great place. Will definitely go back every time we are in the area. Make sure you have the queso!

This place is hands down, the best Mexican food, we’ve ever had! There is another popular local Mexican restaurant in the next city over, but we were never, ever, fans of them. Cozumel Mexican Restaurant is, and forever, will be the only Mexican restaurant we’ll ever order from again. The food was not on paper plates with foil like the other local restaurant. It was in large foil containers, and packaged well. Their nacho chips are definitely home made, as well as the guacamole. Super crispy and super yummy! The fried ice cream was still frozen when it arrived at our house, which is very rare on a hot summer day. We had the nachos, chips and guacamole, burritos, fried ice cream, tacos and taco salads. My mouth is watering writing this!!!

The wait staff was great. Our food and drinks were served quickly and prepared in the way we asked. I enjoyed a delicious strawberry margaritas. Highly recommend the chips and salsa. Todo estaba muy delicioso.

Great food. I was craving Al Pastor tacos but couldn’t find them on their (large) menu so I ordered the chimichangas instead. Then someone at the table across from me ordered the Al Pastor tacos so apparently they do have them and I need to go back. I also had the fried ice cream for dessert and it was really good. I will definitely go back. This will be my new local go to for Mexican food.

We were immediately seated but it did take a bit for the server to order our drinks. We did order our food with the drinks and was served fairly timely. The food was ok, the chicken quesadilla was just cheese and chicken..however we were asked when ordering if my partner wanted just chicken quesadilla which we thought it was just the item instead of being just cheese and chicken. The ceviche was good, but felt it was lacking something. Overall good food.
