We suggest a $20 donation per zoom account to support the Oyster Recovery Partnership. The Oyster Recovery Partnership (ORP) is the nonprofit expert in Chesapeake Bay oyster restoration. We’re restoring the Bay’s native oyster population by building sanctuary reefs, rebuilding public fishery reefs, supporting the aquaculture (oyster farming) industry, recycling oyster shell, and getting the public involved through hands-on volunteering and events. Since our founding in 1994, and with the support of major partners like the Maryland Department of Natural Resources and the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science Horn Point Lab, ORP has planted more than 9 billion oysters on 3,000 acres of reef and recycled more than 250,000 bushels of shell!

Cupidswoman
First time here and it was very pleasant. We sat where we wanted and our server Kyle was very helpful. He recommended a couple things like the frose and a dark beer I’ve never heard of and the tacos. The treuth and sons steak tacos are AMAZING! Local rockfish tacos were also very good and we got the 5 for 17 charcuterie & cheese. We chose smoked duck breast (so good), queso salame, smoked prosciutto, cheddar and gouda. Presentation was very nice, it came with 2 kinds of crackers and tiny crispy bread and different mustard’s and sweet jams. It was all very tasty. Atmosphere is very chill. There is even a outside patio area. We will definitely come back.

Nice quaint spot. When visiting I would recommend you sit outside. The view of the area is nice to people watch. Great food options and wonderful service.

With restaurants closed because of the pandemic, we tried a virtual wine tasting offered by PWC using Zoom. We picked up the tasting bottles a few days before the event along with some charcuterie and a flat bread kit. I hear they deliver the bottles too if you want. There were about 100 people in the Zoom session including the vineyard owner from Spain! This was a homerun for us… we got to experience some new and delicious wine and food while keeping safe and interacting virtually with others.

we tried a little bit of everything – apps, dinner, and drinks. the drinks were the best part but just ok. the apps were meh. chips and salsa aren’t free and are nothing exciting. all our entrees were basic as well despite the exciting descriptions. portions were small. fries were under cooked. the patio seating looks over main street which is lovely and it’s pretty inside. service was slow.

I met some gal pals for dinner and drinks on a Tuesday night and the evening couldn’t have been more perfect. Leah, our server was charming and attentive, the gourmet soft tacos were yummy (pumpkin curry!! ❤️), and the margarita was sooooo good! We will be back often.

Pure Wine Cafe’s special tasting menu for Valentine’s day was quite the treat! Every course prepared by Chef Dave was delicious, the pairings were fantastic, and both the owner and his staff were quite knowledgeable about their product. We bought some surprisingly affordable bottles of two of the wines we tested to take home. Our neighbors at the next table recommended the monthly club membership. We will be taking their advice.

Such a great place! The food was absolutely delicious, the main street grazing board and the shrimp tacos were outstanding. We were seated at a table by the bar and our server, Dan, expertly guided us to perfect wine pairings for our meals. My sister and I had a great time, we’re definitely looking forward to coming back again soon.

I came here for the OEC sampler and got the old town cocktail and truffle fries… along with some wine cheese. I’ll start off by saying that it was a huge rip off and not worth it. When we arrived we were seated at a two top, but the lady tried to get us to leave first by saying well we only have that small two top, are you sure you want a table? We said that was fine and sat down. We were there for almost an hour and a half for some reason because it took forever to have someone come help us. Our drinks took like 20 minutes and the fries even longer. The cheese ended up coming out after almost an hour. The old town was alright. Not smooth at all and i think they didn’t make a full drink. The truffle fries were burnt and for $8…the portion was barely a handful considering that its just potatoes doused in truffle oil. The wine cheese was good but after this last experience i will not be back here again.
