This little coffee shop is a gem. The drinks are a step above any commercial grade cafe. Their food is lovingly made from scratch. And it has the ambiance of a year-round Christmas cottage. I’d love to keep this wonderful place as a well-known secret. A place that’s popular enough to stay in business but not too busy to keep its low-key atmosphere of a small, quiet place to enjoy a snack and an amazing refreshment.

This place is so relaxing. Most people come for the drinks. But a little known fact, they have the best hamburgers and Ragin’Cajun (grilled chicken) sandwiches in town. They have the best desserts, too. We halved and shared a PB cookie.

First time in Athens and Callaway’s Caffee and we had brunch. It’s cutes little spot with excellent food. The service we received was so amazing, they made us feel welcome and gave us an amazing experience. I would like to recommend it to everyone.

This cozy place has one of the best burgers I’ve ever had, delicious sandwiches, creative coffee combinations, and decadent desserts. The ONLY drawback is the wait. If you order food be prepared to wait. However, it has a chill vibe, cool music, books, and board games to entertain you while you wait.

Cozy cafe with tasty sandwiches, pastries, and coffee. Callaway Club, chicken salad croissant, and the kids grilled cheese were all good. Coffee and turnovers are good too. The friendly barista said all the pastries are made in-house or by a local bakery.

What a delightful find! As we passed thru Athens, TX, we were happy to stumble on this lovely spot for his coffee and marvelous breakfast sandwiches. Every town should have a place like this! On a side note, better signage out front would be a big plus.
