I absolutely love this place, as soon as you walk in the smell alone is just satisfying. Salute to all the workers getting marinated in the aromas. I went here with my daughter for dinner while visiting from out of state. At first I was a little nervous because the greeting at the front door by the two young hostesses was not welcoming at all. I almost turned around and walked back out the door. They barely said hi and I had to actually ask them if we could get a table.

Grimaldi’s is always delicious. We usually go to the one in Old Town Scottsdale but we were in North Phoenix and decided to check out the one at DC ranch. The food was great. The service was a little slow and they weren’t busy. This was odd considering Old Town location is always busy and yet still has prompt service.

Very quaint restaurant, in a very quaint area! My youngest and I shared “The Don”. I had to stop myself from eating. I could have easily polished off my half of the large. My wife did a chicken and jalapeno with white garlic sauce. Jalapeños were HOT and the garlic sauce was a bit too garlicy for her; I found it delicious. In my opinion, The Don is one of the very best pizzas in the valley. I also found the price very reasonable.

Not as good as all the times before. Not sure what happened. This was our most favorite pizza place to go to. Service was ok, not spot on like all the times before. Pizza, ok not great like before, atmosphere was lovely, nice and quiet enjoyed the patio and overlooking the park. We will go back, hope the standards are back when we go.
