Carla’s Gourmet nasceu no dia 01/10/2020 através da paixão de Carla Scaramelli por batata recheada culturalmente conhecida em diversas regiões do Brasil.
Vinda do estado de São Paulo/ Brasil, nascida em um lar aonde sua mãe também tinha seu próprio negócio de comida, Carla aprendeu a cozinhar desde cedo, adquirindo os segredos culinários e temperos de sua mãe.
Desde que chegou na América basicamente 2 anos depois vivendo em Massachusetts, Carla decidiu trazer o gostinho caseiro brasileiro de sua mãe, aplicando técnicas gourmet de preparo, inicialmente e como foco principal em Batatas recheadas, porém expandiu seu cardápio com mais opções.

Amazing food, we ordered 2 stuffed baked potatoes, shredded chicken and dried beef. Both were so delicious! It is a hearty meal, but I didn’t feel it was too heavy while eating, seasoning is perfect and it was really well cooked. It was very easy to order w Carla and she delivered it right to the door, I highly recommend everyone try eating here, I will definitely be ordering again in the future!

I had an experience that reminded me of the taste of my mother’s food. Their chef car is the Brazilian Stuffed Potato, which is their exclusive dish among all Brazilian restaurants I’ve seen in Massachusetts. I ordered the Stroganoff stuffed potato, chicken catupiry, Escondidinho stuffed with dried meat “typical dish from Brazil” (which is like a stuffed mashed potato) just perfect. I also tasted the beef quesadilla with cheddar and chilli which is very good too, especially when compared to the mexican restaurants I’ve already tasted.
