It was an amazing place to have desi food. Lots of menu options available. The manager is very knowledgeable and recommended wise options from the menu, saved us time and money. The fresh naan n mix grill were perfectly cooked. My 11 Yr old loved the food and cozy ambience. Highly recommended for Pakistani n Indian cuisine lovers.

I ordered the chix biryani on Grubhub based on the reviews here on google maps. Unfortunately it did not meet expectations. The rice was just about soggy, and the chicken was not that great, it lacked the normal freshness. The raita did not add the cooling and flavor effect I normally expect when added to biryani. Im glad I tried this new place out but will stick to my go to.

The curry veg chili paneer is SOOO good! Very spicy, but the cilantro yogurt sauce balances it out 100% recommend

We had our doubts at first, since the place was empty — But we were warmly welcomed, and when the food came we knew we’d made a great choice. Everything had a wonderful lightness despite the deep and delicious spicing — the oil was light and fresh, there was not too much salt. Do not miss the biryani! We also loved the keema grilled and a very good dal. Recommended!

This place has amazing authentic Pakistani food. I highly recommend the seekh kebab and behari kebab. I always get mine with A paratha and chai. They also have the best veg samosa I’ve had in Chicago, a must order for sure

I posted this on Yelp but wanted to add some insight here- this place is awful. I ordered chicken biryani and butter chicken for delivery and the only positive thing I can say is that the food was piping hot. Chicken biryani was a giant pile of unflavored rice with literally, no exaggeration, 1 piece of chicken that was half bone. Genuinely insulting, especially when you take the 16$ price tag into consideration. Boyfriend’s butter chicken was mostly oil and had a whopping total of 4 tiny pieces of meat (also $16 btw). Please trust me, order from Spice Room, Mild 2 Spicy, or even Cumin before disappointing yourself with an order from this restaurant.

Wish I could give them negative ratings. We ordered biryani from here and when we opened the box it was having insects and mosquitoes in it. So I recommend please don’t order from this place.

Souped up Cabbie Indo-Pak joint with much nicer ambience. It’s similar menu to other joints nearby. Smaller Veggie options, but enough for me to get here regularly. Palak Paneer, Chili Paneer, Cholay and Bhindi Masala are all good. Pakoras are freshly made. Nice addition is they have some good pre packaged desserts in the fridge. Also, they have chapati in addition to parathas and naans. A very expansive meat menu offering beef, chicken and mutton dishes, as both curries and grill items, but no opinion on that as I is vegetarian!

Amazing hot fresh naan, super flavorful chicken karahi and tikka, amazing frontier roll as well! Everything was superb, honestly. I wasn’t expecting it because i tried this place on a whim but it’s my new go to desi food in the chicago city area!
