We have had take out here before but not dined in. The food is good, the service is friendly and prompt, we were here on a Thurs eve so there is only about about 3 tables. Best part they have robot servers! They had at least 2 that helped bring food out, talked and also sang happy birthday to a table! Very cute and entertaining!

I like this place, even though I notice today they are closed temporarily (so check before you go). Before their prices caught up with inflation, I loved (and still like) the lunch special…a great salad, egg roll, rice, and an entree (sweet & sour shrimp). All tasted good, left me feeling good (not always the case with some places), and still affordable for full lunch. The robot that delivers the food is a nice touch. When they first got it, I asked, “Does it ever hit people,” and the waitress said, “Oh, yes!”—which explained why it was always chaperoned by a human. But now I think it’s programmed better.

Tried this place on a whim and we’re glad we did. We aren’t from here and we’re visiting from Alaska. Excellent food, excellent service, and a nice clean atmosphere. Fried Potstickers were awesome. As was the chicken fried rice, sweet and sour shrimp, and sesame chicken. We all loved it and will go back if we ever find ourselves in this nice town. Go and grab a bite here, you’ll be glad you did.

We ordered takeout, and the packaging was very clean and sturdy. Got the sizzling rice soup, which tasted really good. The broth was more cloudy and thick than previous ones I’ve had, which I liked. But, could use more vegetables and meat in it, and the ingredients in the soup weren’t mixed up very well, which was a bit inconvenient when serving. Also, the rice was just a rice cake, so it wasn’t great.

Food was only average, and generally overpriced. Not a great value, the bill was approaching $100 for two people to have two entrees and appetizers, plus one silly and overpriced cocktail. On a lark, my companion wanted the $18 hurricane drink, which ended up tasting like a mix of chlorine and dish soap. Avoid that cocktail whatever you do, but I doubt most people go to a Chinese restaurant for the great bartending anyway. My veggie egg roll was good and my entree was sort of dry. My friend’s sesame chicken was also dry.

A Lafayette institution, Ting’s is by far the best sit-down Chinese/SE Asian restaurant in Boulder County. Spiced duck steamed buns are heaven. Sesame tofu, Laksa curry, broccoli beef – I’ve never had something from Tings that wasn’t delicious. Eat in for a great atmosphere and be entertained by their robot helper. One last note, they keep their restaurant impressively clean.

Flavorful food but each dish delivered by AI trolley (then placed on table by server) was tepid to cold: soup with dumpling, Moo Goo Gai Pan and even the rice. It was a lovely Sunday evening in June so we were the only people eating in what seemed a nice contemporary environment.

Friendly staff and decent service. I’ve had a couple issues while dining here, but I have to give 5 stars based on their seafood noodle soup. I recommend eating here to people who enjoy spicy noodle soup with seafood. The problems that I had were related to my dietary requirements.

This place is amazing! A gem of a find too! Fresh, delicious and healthy food. Sweet sweet staff! Loved the garlic shrimp scallop with brown rice and won ton soup! Beautiful interior, extremely clean! It never looks open except light string along patio and a couple of cars, so i was afraid to try it. IT IS OPEN! Many people eat here but you cant tell from outside! Its getting busier as i have my meal too! im coming back here again and again! I cant believe it took me so long to explore this gem! Next time proper photos before i eat!

Wanted to give Ting’s another try – unfortunately, will not be back. Tonight’s dinner of sesame chicken for $17.95 comprised of fried hard bits of overcooked chicken and the serving size did not include 17 pieces of chicken. This was on the menu as a “House Specialty” and very disappointing. Crab/cream cheese wontons were ok. Glad there are other options for take-out Chinese in Lafayette.
