I ordered from this Pap Johns on a rainy Friday. The pizza arrived about 2+ hours later. The following Monday, to my surprise, I received a call from the manager who too the initiative to apologize for the delay and sent me a coupon for a free pizza. Things happen and pizza gets delayed, but the manager took responsibility to keep a customer and I appreciate that.

Probably the worst job I ever had in my life was working for Papa John’s as a driver. $3 an hour on the road. World’s worst managers had to pay for my own uniform. One day the freezer busted and I was given $20 to haul like 200+ lbs of food in my trunk all the way to the central store. Had an old guy named Nabeel (close to that) who would steal deliveries. Such a toxic place. This store and Papa John’s deserve to go out of business.

I have reviewed this Papa John’s in the past and gave it a strong review but I am taking it all back. There is nothing against the food. It is excellent. My issue is with the service. This is the third time in a row I have had a miserable experience with getting my food on time. Twice I have done pick up and once I did delivery through doordash. Every single one of these last three times the wait has been overwhelming. The store is chronically understaffed and they are unable to get your food to you in a reasonable time. On the pizza tracker, all three times my food was declared ready and all three times it was not. This is not the problem of the people at the store because there were only two folks there and one was being trained. This is a problem for the management of the store who do not properly staff it. Again, the food was fine but I am unwilling to return due to the lack of service.

Sorry, I’m sure it’s not the store fault, but if you tell me you can’t take my order, but I may place it online. Please make sure you are able to recieve online orders. I ordered a pizza off the app, showed up at the store 30 mins later to my surprise no order was there. As I go to look for my email confirmation, I notice it wasn’t sent, then I check my card to see if I was charged, I was. And behold, after waiting 30 mins then spending 5 mins in the store my order come through. Everytime I give papa John’s a chance, it disappoints. Maybe I’ll try again in a few years. Horrible.
