It’s a beautiful quaint little restaurant, the food was absolutely delicious. The prices were exceptionally reasonable, I got the combo plate and it was only $12. Came with a choice of meat, plus beans, rice, vegetables and homemade tortillas. The homemade tortillas are phenomenal. When we walked in they were cooking them right behind the counter. The service is amazing. They just seemed genuinely happy to see you and have you there. They have both green and red sauce to pour on your food and they’re both delicious. The menu is limited but next time I’m in town I’m definitely going after some tacos and tortas as I’ve heard good things. If you find yourself in South Bend I definitely advise a stop.

I love the beef quesadilla, I personally asked for no onions and they always take them off for me. All the ingredients they put in their items is listed on the menu making it easy to choose. The prices are great and the service is excellent!!

Amazing! Sooooo good! I had a Beef Barbacoa and also a Chicken Taco. The Beef Barbacoa was my favorite. If you are really hungry order a burrito. We stopped in after I searched online for a Authentic Mexican restaurant. So happy we stopped here, the owner even came over to our table and I love the history of this family restaurant. I hope to come here again!! ❤️

We stopped for lunch the other day. They had a simple menu, meaning that there were not a lot of choices. Simple was very good in this case. I chose the combo plate with beef and it was a very nice meal. I was surprised that the bathrooms were outside but they were good bathrooms so that was ok. The restaurant is located right by a huge oyster shell. It was neat to see too.
