Excellent service. If you don’t like spicy but want something with the little chili peppers next to it on the menu, ask them to tone it down. The owner told us that is an option unlike the Yelp review which says it is not. The restaurant is modern and clean. Staff super attentive. They serve beer/wine and authentic Thai. On a busy Saturday night and I’d prefer to go there and be immediately seated than wait 45 minutes at the pizza joint (while I love their pizza) for a quiet healthier alternative.

We have slowly eaten our way through the entire menu of the Bangkok Thai Kitchen and I can say only one thing WOW, there was not a single dish that was not of the highest quality. This place truly catches what Thai food is all about balanced spices and the right amount of heat. I would even go as far as calling this one of the best Thai restaurants I have ever eaten at outside of Thai food market.

I’ve been a patron of Bangkok Thai Kitchen for three or four years. In all my visits, I’ve NEVER had a bad experience. I’m a fan of the Chicken Kapow (chicken in ginger sauce) and it’s consistently good. Bangkok Thai Kitchen’s Larb Gai is some of the best I’ve had.

The food is the best we’ve had in the Frederick area. Spicy means spicy, just the way we like it. Being vegetarian, their green curry, pad thai, drunken noodles, etc. are all made with extra tofu and extra vegetables. We’ve been there several times, but now, plan to make it a regular visit, at least once a fortnight!! The owners/staff are great – courteous and friendly.

Delicious food in a comfortable environment. This is a family owned restaurant that we’ve been going to for years. The Thai fried rice is great and we especially love the dessert of mango coconut rice. If you’re looking for a place where parking is easy and food is good, this is the place.

Ordered pad thai and it was way too sweet for me. My two other American friends said they liked it. Green curry is not spicy at all though. The food isnt bad but it wasnt sweet or mild flavor I was expecting.

I ordered the pad thai as carryout. Tomato paste in the pad thai and the shrimp tasted rancid and uncooked so after a few bites I threw it in the garbage where it belonged.

Expierence definitely varies depending on what you order. The crispy duck is excellent and the entire reason i’d go back. but most items are just ok. Some ingredients, were a little off like baby Bella mushrooms or jalapeños…just not as authentic of a taste. Service was somewhat slow, average price for thai, and the place is small but clean. Overall ok with a few really great dishes.

I don’t understand why there are so many 5 star reviews of this place. I ordered the pad thai no bean sprouts, the wife orders pad se ew beef. lo and behold beansprouts were in my pad thai and my wife recieved chicken instead of beef. The pad se ew was ok, but the pad thai was god awful. It barely had a flavor to it. I’ve been to dozens of Thai restaurants in the area and this is the WORST!

My husband and I have had carry-out from here twice in the last few months and we are hooked! The panang chicken is our very favorite. We’ve also enjoyed the chicken satay appetizer and the following entrees: ped krob (crispy duck), honey shrimp and moo prik king (battered pork). Thai Rice (across the street) is also good, but this place blew me away.
