Pizza is great for sure. But the customer service I encountered on the phone while trying to order was horrible. The male on the phone sounded like he hated his job and was extremely rude. No greeting at all, he spoke aggressive and was not friendly at all. If you hate your job, find something else that doesn’t interact with customers so they do not have to deal with your negative attitude. Customer service for me is a big deal and I believe for most customers as well, especially in Rockford it’s very rare to come across rude businesses. It’s the first impression customers get when purchasing from a business and immediately turns off customers from returning. I’ve liked Momma’s Boy pizza for quite some time but I have never dealt with service like this before and unfortunately due to the rude employee (I don’t know if it was Steve the owner) I will not be returning to this establishment. And if customer service is a big deal for you, DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS.

Very underrated pizza place! I opted for their thin crust and fell in love! The cheese was cooked to perfection and each slice has a great chew to it! I love their cinnamon bites and cheese bread as well! Also gluten free pizza available! Much better than the chain places!

Dine- in is limited, but possible. My husband and I had to change our plans for our pizza lunch date as the other place we selected was closed until dinner. The dough is AMAZING and hand prepared- I checked. The sauce was very tasty. They serve up an old fashioned pizza unlike the mass produced stuff served at all the other places. Veteran owned.

Unreal. Never heard of a pizza shop that won’t let you build your own sub… wow thats a great way to pisssss off people and lose customers. Do u think everyone like tomato onions, green peppers, olives, pepperoni, or pizza sauce..maybe people are allergic to cerrtain items.. Ham cheese bacon sausage onion and mayo.. how hard is that. Guess I’ll call zains or Pierson and get my 4 subs there.. the owner might like his items on subs that don’t mean the public does.. change with the times or get left out and lose out..change the menu and I’ll change my review.
