It’s probably closer to a 2.5 but when Pie Wei first opened I would have given it a solid 3. The flavor seems to have diminished but maybe it was just a recent visit or maybe I’ve just had more flavor elsewhere these days that it just doesn’t cut it anymore. If you haven’t been to Pei Wei before you should go at least once and decide for yourself. It could have been just the day of recent but I left feeling like I’d never probably go back. Mongolian chicken with noodles is pictured.

I tried the Cauliflower Power bowl, which was touted as having lower carbs. Please not that this still has 44 carbs, likely coming from the sauce. I only ate half to compensate

The worst restaurant ever!! This is the second time when i ordered online and come in to the store – there is a huge line of to go orders, nothing is being told to us, and after a 20-minute wait I was told they don’t know where my order is and it will take an additional half hour to get my order done!! and this is during business lunch our. I figured this only after another lady asked for a refund and said she was already waiting for 35 minutes. what a terribly service! and i disgusted by their attitude. manager did nothing no sorry, no info how long it should take. just stood there and made a lot of people angry. ruined my lunch!

One line cook being expected to support the entire restaurant is incomprehensible. My online order stated. 6:34 pickup time. My order wasn’t ready until 7pm. I stood here and watched each item be prepared and bagged individually. The first item that went in is now cold. No expediting. No organization.

I used to loveee this place, but it has gone down hill in the last few months. While some of their dishes were delicious, the quality has changed significantly. I have heard open arguing amongst staff as well. I hope they get it together here soon as this place has a lot of potential.

A nice place for oriental food very clean and not busy. This place reminds me of pf changs but a faster less expensive. I don’t recommend the orange chicken really sweet not too spicy. I do charge for drinks water cups are still free

This is about their takeout. Overall everything was fine. But this is the second time we ordered a salad from PEI Wei in Herndon and when we opened up everything, we found no dressing for the salad. Coming back to get it fixed just isn’t helpful when you are taking out food and about 15 minutes away. So order most things but stay away form the salad if you are ordering to go.

Love the wonton soup, traditional chicken lettuce wrap, ahi avocado salad in particular. Fresh and tasty and filling. Water for tea is super-hot – avoid scalding by putting cold water on your cup first. Fresh orange/lemon slices for your tea are available by the hot water dispenser. Ordering process can be a bit long with coupons, but staff is very friendly. Remember to leave a dollar or two per diner as a tip for the folks who clear the tables – so many people seem to forget this.
