Atmosphere and service was great, but I am not too pleased with the food, especially the Suya. As a Nigerian, I know how our local appetizer tastes like, so when I saw it on the menu I was happy to order because I missed eating it. I was really disappointed when I took a bite honestly, the pepper used wasn’t no where suya pepper, the pepper on it tasted like Ayobo seasoning bc it wasn’t palatable atall and the suya wasn’t juicy. Would have given a 5 star but that suya really ruined it for me.

My food was cold unfortunately. And the portions were very small. I would’ve preferred it to be more spicy and with more seasoning. And for $27 I was not satisfied. It needed more heat, temperature wise and taste wise. Great location though but NO PARKING. Closest parking around would cost you $25 bucks!

The atmosphere is great. My the food could have used a little help. My red snapper was a little dry. And unseasoned. The Jollof and plantains were flavorless. I picked West African food for some spice and seasoning. There was none at all. My daughter had salmon and mashed potatoes she said she enjoyed it. I got egusi to go. It was dry and not that good. I can’t put my finger on it but it just wasn’t right. Maybe it was a bad day.

By far best fried red snapper I’ve ever had. Seasoning perfect rice was great and the veggie patty was good as well. Snapper has a lot of meat and was even good warmed up the next day. Big thanks the cook that fried snapper is perfection.

Shout out to our waitress “Banks” she’s the best! The food was seasoned, prepared, and presented perfectly. We dined in, not rushed at all, and finished in under an hour. The atmosphere and music was very relaxing. Nothing less than 5 stars. Thank you for a wonderful African experience. God Bless

We came in from out of town for the basketball game and everywhere else had a 45 min. We walked in on a Friday night and got seated immediately. Started off with 2 lemon drop drinks and then we had our food! Hands down the best outside food we had in a loooong time! Hubby is Nigerian so he was right at home. I was a little hesitant about ordering but I am glad I did! It was delicious and I highly recommend! Will not be disappointed

The food, the service, the ambiance…everything 10/10. Banks was the absolute best waiter and bar tender. My husband ordered a drink called “make it happen” where you describe to the bartender the taste of drink you want without telling the ingredients and they make a drink that is exactly what flavor description you said and Banks did not disappoint. His drink was so delightful I asked for one for myself. Will definitely be returning with friends.

Nice, low key atmosphere. Tucked out of the way but easy to find. Great tasting authentic food & pleasant attitudes all around! Definitely worth the experience when your tired of the same old burgers & fries!

I thoroughly enjoyed my food at Primo’s. I got the lamb stew, red snapper and egusi soup. Everything was tender and tasty. The tomatoes and onions on the red snapper are divine. The fufu was good…this food needs no hype. I will definitely be back again and again.
