Chums is a great place to get a fish meal,you can get walleye and catfish grilled if you like. The catfish is marinated, so it tastes really good, and not fishy at all. The coleslaw and fries are both good. The owner and cook are friendly and will answer any questions you may have. I tried both their walleye and catfish and enjoyed both, although I’ll try the grilled walleye again with fries. Come in soon and try them out as it’s always been a good experience for me and my wife. the atmosphere is comfortable with an authentic feel.

Fresh and delicious! We ordered a lb of beer battered shrimp and onion rings and both were fresh out of the fryer and so tasty. Not something that I would necessarily want to have all the time but the food was on point. Will definitely come again.

This is our first time eating at the new location… everything was as good as it always was and now there’s just a little more space! (got calamari, lobster mac, The Chum sandwich, boom boom shrimp wraps and their famous anchors… all delicious!) sad that it’s not as close as it used to be but glad it’s still around!

This was our first time. We ordered fried shrimp, oysters, and hush puppies to go. Everything was delicious! The best fried oysters I’ve ever had. Friendly, smiling service. We will definitely be back!

This is my second time visiting Chums Shrimp Shack and both times the food is delicious and the staff demonstrates excellent customer service. They seem to be super busy, so I would order ahead and give them plenty of time.

You get what you pay for, which is why this place is worth the money. Excellent flavors on their sandwiches and wraps, and their bowls of shrimp over fries/slaw are so incredibly good. App to order ahead as well.

This was a really nice experience, and a nice change from the traditional restaurants in the area (mainly the chains that seem to not be doing very well). Very clean inside, and the decor is what I would hope it would be, a sea catch restaurant that specializes in shrimp and lobster rolls. It had the feel of a place near a large body of water. It is small inside, but it works! The workers were great, personable, quick, and looked like they were happy to be there. Onto the food. I wasn’t disappointed. Everything was fresh and hot, the mojito lime shrimp wrap and hush puppies had great flavor. A friend had the lobster roll and said it was amazing! Highly recommend going here if you are looking for a shrimp/seafood joint.

I don’t easily give away 5 stars but my family and I had an exceptional experience. Each one of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We managed to leave room for dessert and were blown away. I’m pretty picky when it comes to food but everything was phenomenal! The only complain I have is that the restaurant was very busy and loud so the food took a little longer than expected.

This is definitely a good take-out place, but I wouldn’t recommend for eat-in. Seating is rustic and uncomfortable. There’s plenty of parking, but not very much room inside. The food is really good and fresh!
