Oh boy! This place is a really great spot. I have been wanting to check it out for awhile, but Marlin isn’t on the way to or from anywhere for me. So I made special trip today and was really anticipating the food. Usually for me, expectations are the thief of joy, but Whups Boomerang will have me coming back just like the name. The brisket, the ribs, the sausage. All outstanding! Excellent flavor, friendly service and well worth the drive! Take cash with you and go check them out!

Take a detour off Highway 6 and indulge yourself in some of the best BBQ in Texas. Melt in your mouth brisket perfectly prepared. It’s a tiny place not much bigger than a hole in the wall, rustic – the way a central Texas BBQ joint should be. Whup’s is first tier.
