I absolutely love Kyoto! The habachi chefs are amazing and very much deserve nice tips! They can make your experience so worth it and memorable. One chef allowed me to try to juggle the egg with the spatula and it was SO FUN. I RECOMMEND coming here for a fun night with your family (no kids) or friends! Thank you Kyoto for making such amazing rice w/ egg!!!!

The host was a bit rude, but everyone else was welcoming. Once inside, dinner was fun and delicious. The bill was not too bad for a party of 9. Not from this town, but next time, it’s likely I’d come here again.

FANTASTIC experience. Food, atmosphere, interaction. Bartender was great, pretty much worth the price. When you account for the cooking flair, it’s worth it.

This place was rated well so we gave it a shot. We were highly disappointed. I think the pictures speak for themselves. We ordered a chicken fried rice and a deep fried California roll. The texture of the rice was great, but is this seriously what we get for $15.95? The California roll was not deep fried by any means either, it’s pale color proves this. We ended up recooking our food after opening it, upon delivery. We added some veggies to the rice and fried the sushi. Pictures are of before and after our own edits to the dishes. Long story short, we will not be ordering from here again.

Staff is friendly and very helpful. Food, on the other hand, does not make the cut for me. Menu has all the Japanese type of dishes. However, this is no way to be Japanese food. I’ve lived i Japan and other places where more population of Japanese. I think I know what Japanese food tastes like. The dishes we ordered are more Japanese-inspired or want-to-be Japanese food. I’ve never had Nabeyaki udon with so much bell pepper in it. The few slices of mushroom, overcooked seafood and meats, shredded cabbage and a few pieces of fish cake in a very bland broth will not pass for Japanese Nabeyaki.

Went out for a birthday dinner a few months ago and again today. Quickly seated. Friendly and courteous service. Every item ordered was prepared well and tasted good. Easy parking, paved. Multiple booth, bar, and group seating. High chairs. Large menu/selection. Alcoholic drinks. Hibachi.

I dined in for lunch and got the Hibachi Filet Mignon, my bf got the Chicken Teriyaki, and we shared Dragon rolls. It was all 58$ and the service was very nice. We had leftovers and our server even packaged that for us very nice experience.

We had a great time. Our server was very nice. In fact every staff member said hello, thank you, or something polite that we walked past. The sushi roll was delicious as was the Pina Colada!

Made reservations and over and hour and a half later they hadnt even started with our food. Then the large group confused them and they didn’t have enough cooks for the back room. Other big groups that came in after us were served first. , the back room also is used as storage. For a higher end restaurant, I don’t want to be sitting next to bags of rice and card board boxes . Appetizers and drinks came with the rest of the food. Over all disappointed in the service and quality.

Good sushi and price for the area. I grew up eating sushi in Portland. Yakima has a handful of sushi places and this is decent sushi and a realistic price. Lunch special is great, bento boxes are huge and they have a great selection of cocktails.
