I was expecting more from the food, and I was disappointed. It was not to my liking but may be for others. My experience was what you wanted, ok Bye. The food was room temperature and didn’t have flavor to me. The Pre Made Bottle drinks were pricey. The music was extremely loud as she couldn’t hear us to order. The customer service was what you wanted all the way to pay as I had to look at the screen to know the price, and I put my card in, and she walked away. It was no thank you or anything. I want be back. I didn’t get enough to be back.

I stopped by this spot after a conference. The food is really good. They have freshed squeezed juices. I enjoyed the ginger and pineapple one. The meal starts with a base of rices and then you can option of a protein and vegetables. They have chicken, beef , and depending on the day oxails. I ordered the yellow rice, with oxtail and cabbage. If you want the taste of the island, give them a try.

Had the pleasure of going here today for the first time and it was so yummy I cleaned my plate. The portions were worth every dollar. Loved the atmosphere. They were so kind. The young lady who fixed my plate helped me choose lol.. We met one of the owners. He told us abt the brunch.. And upstairs after hours will be music etc. I danced and ate the entire time my husband and I was there. It indeed is a vibe oh and I loved the drinks we had. I bought extra to bring home.. This was our first time here. Found it on google. It was my baby brother’s 21st birthday and he wanted some real Jamaican food. We are Jamaicans. To my surprise, this was the only Jamaican restaurant that was open on a Sunday. We walked in expecting some cafeteria style, order at the counter type thing but dang they leveled all the way up. Table setting service. Our servers were amazing. The food was amazing (coming from a Jamaican). Loved the space. Parking was no issue. Everyone was friendly and catered to our needs. My brother is a happy lad on his birthday. Definitely recommend this place and we will be back!!!

I’m new to the Nashville area, and this restaurant came highly recommended by coworkers. I now know why. AWESOME! I tried the shrimp bowl and even stepped outside of my non-spice level to try the Honey Jerk sauce. The ingredients were fresh, and the bowl was large enough to satisfy me. The Honey Jerk was a tad spicy but so good, I just let my keep burning. Not spicy enough to cause sniffles, though. I also tried the Cucumber Lime drink. Also, MUCH better than it sounds. TRY IT!!

A little leary as there was only one other table when we walked in. (There was a football game in the city at the time) They have either a bowl that you can customize with starch, protein, sauce and toppings; or an entree with two sides. I had the ox tail with macaroni pie (baked Mac& cheese) and cabbage. The cabbage with corn, carrots and peas was prob one of the best sides I’ve had and macaroni was very good. Ox tail was fall off the bone. Staff was courteous and were cleaning when not busy. Only issues were VERY loud music where we couldn’t hear each other and lack of napkins (only to-go silverware pack). Would recommend.
