We tried the steak and onions and chicken breast lunch special. The lunch special comes with soup and a fountain drink for only $10.99. The portions are very generous! The food was really well seasoned and tasted delicious. We had zero expectations going in and were pleasantly surprised overall. Also tried the $5 Margarita special. It was good. I highly recommend trying this restaurant out, it is by far one of the best Colombian restaurants I’ve been to in a long time!

We came to Simon Parrillada for lunch midweek. The restaurant wasn’t busy but, we still chose to sit at the bar. We ordered several appetizers and main dishes, along with drinks. Overall, the food was very good and the portions were generous. The staff was very friendly, especially the bartender, who took good care of us and gave us a rundown on the different activities that happen during the week.

I have always see this place, but today 10 of us decided to try it, let me tell you, yummy yummy, the grilled chicken, plantains and beans are delish as well the beef empanadas and the steak and pork chops are good , big soups of beef or chicken with a little arepa are so good, the flan was good too, if you are in the area must stop by. Sadly to say my experience here was less than stellar. It took over 20 minutes for a server to even acknowledge my existence once I was seated. Right as I was getting ready to leave I was able to get the attention of my waiter where I finally placed my order. I got a sirloin steak with rice. I was given a fair amount of steak for the price however, it was almost inedible it was so tough. The coke I was given tasted similar to soda water and my waiter never came around until I asked for the check through another waiter so I could finally pay and leave.

Came in for a family birthday dinner. As soon as you walk in you notice the colorful walls with popular Colombian sayings on them. The place looked super clean and felt family friendly right away (for an early Thursday evening). I was surprised they had Medalla beer and like any good Puerto Rican I had a few.
