Picked up a new propeller and a gas lite 40 for the Wingtipper from my old pal Two Pickle Pete and headed straight to Luigi’s Italian Delicatessen, and you know why…because they make the best sandwiches in The county! The selection of meats is tremendous, today I chose the imported ham, it was spectacular.

First visit to Luigi’s around 10:30am, not busy but people started showing up soon after I arrived. I got a Luigi and bean salad and both were excellent. I loved the variety of meats AND two cheeses. I also do oil/vinegar instead of mayo/must, just saying! Great bread, friendly folks helping, ok selection of other product. Could have used better chip selection but overall happy and will be back!

This is a mixed review. When I walked in i immediately noticed an empty cold case. There were a handful of salamis still wrapped in plastic. On the other side of the case were decent looking salads.

This used to be my favorite sandwich place and I have no idea what happened. I took 9 months off being pregnant and was so excited to have a sandwich from here again.

This place used to be my favorite. Now every time I go in the woman behind the counter complains about how everyone asks if they are closed because she never turns the sign on. It’s awful! They are out of everything all the time. My sandwich is terrible. I miss the old Luigi’s!

After a very long period I had the opportunity to revisit Luigi’s to have one of their signature sandwiches, the Luigi Boy. It did not disappoint in the least. Looking forward to going back for another visit soon. Highly recommend a visit to enjoy their real deli food.

My sandwich was fantastic, but my boyfriend’s sandwich was disgusting…so Luigi’s gets 3 ☆. I had the Tuscan Veggie on sourdough. The veggies, cheese and spread worked beautifully together. I knew the sourdough wasn’t the best choice for Italian fillings but I had a feeling the bread would be authentic here, and I was happy to be right! The roll was humongous, chewy and sour! The fillings didn’t all squeeze out the back either! However, my boyfriend ordered the crab melt. When the order came it looked fabulous and it was a huge portion. But it was IMITATION CRAB!!! It wasn’t even edible. Here’s a tip Luigi’s: get real crab, cut the portion in half, charge the same amount. Then we’ll come back.

Been coming here for years and something is just wrong here now. Looks like they are going out of business with lots of holes in the store where food used to be. Sandwiches used to be so good and so full of meat. I just got a breadwich. They even said they put in extra meat because they didn’t have bacon. Looks like they took more off. Not even sure the avocado on here counts as adding avocado. Tried to go back to speak with someone after getting home and saw this sad thing but they are only open 10am to 4pm and closed early. Sad to see this happening as this place was a favorite.

The best sandwich place in town and has been that way for decades. Nothing has changed and I still continue to get great sandwiches and their famous chicken salad every week. Love Luigi’s!
