I could really appreciate a little American comfort food, different than what else is around. They were able to add pepper and onions to a cheese quesadilla. The cheesesteak we wouldn’t get again; it may just need more season or toasted bread would have been nice. Added salt and pepper to the mashed potatoes, comes with chicken gravy. All in all, it’s decent enough.

Liked the chicken quesadilla, gate the cheesecake. I would not consider it cheesecake if I hadn’t seen it. It’s more akin to advertising cheesecake. Looks like the most perfect cheesecake in the world, but isn’t made out of anything edible. The cheesesteak looks delicious. Hoping it’s as good as it looks. The strawberry-banana smoothie was delicious. Would definitely recommend.

I came here for a slice of cheesecake because I’ve stopped here before and today it was calling me. The cashier was friendly and gave a great suggestion, Reese’s chocolate cheesecake! It was soooooo sweet but delish I shared with my boyfriend. Huge portion size nice friendly staff

I stopped here while on a road trip. It’s a nice little spot to grab a bite to eat. They have a wide selection of menu items at very reasonable prices. They have all day breakfast as well. I had The Mess – a hearty and filling breakfast scramble that comes with a honey biscuit. It could easily feed two people.

They would otherwise get a good review, the concept is great but the food is pretty bad. Fried chicken breading is salty enough to cause a heart attack, nearly unpalatable. But the “pizza roll” is the worst, not worth $2.50, maybe .50 cents, as it only contained one piece of pepperoni and was mostly air, wasn’t that large to start. Two bites and that’s being generous.

Mavericks Bistro is one of those places that you wouldn’t think is anything special until you order there and anything and everything you order is amazing. One thing that definitely stands out is their selection of cheesecake for being in a truck stop this place is phenomenal I can simply tell you I don’t believe there’s one thing on their menu that is not good. It’s amazing and comforting that somebody finally thought outside the box and put such a great little spot have a restaurant inside a truck stop. 5 Stars hands down. It takes a while to get my food usually, but that’s because I’m usually there later in the day and they have to make it fresh. Ten minutes is definitely worth the wait for how good the chicken tenders are. The tenders are a generous size, especially for the price. The three piece is more than enough for me. I’ve had other items there too and everything has been delicious. Sure beats the BK next door

Good chicken, mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese not so good. Not kid friendly and I understand it’s a truck stop for truckers but other people stop here too. The cheesecake was worth the five price tag. It’s a big thick cheesecake. Clean friendly service
