Worst chao tom ever. Chao tom are mixed with flour. Does not taste like shrimp at all. The chicken wings were good.

Really delicious banh mi sandwiches and abundance of rice jelly desserts! Also one of the few places in city limits where you can buy ca-rem la creme ice cream bars individually. The family routinely stops by here to buy Vietnamese dishes when we want a quick bite to eat!

I bought a 50 pk of frozen egg rolls haven’t fried any yet. Half of the deli food tasted old even tho I was there right aftr lunch hour. The bread on the sandwich tasted stale n didn’t have much meat the grilled meatballs was too hard n taste old I threw those away n the pork filled wrap noodles didn’t taste good. Now I know why there food is cheaper.

Tan Dinh is a good place to visit for a very affordable meal. I used to visit when it was a different owner almost a decade ago now probably, but have not been back since the new owners set up shop. I visited on a Friday morning around 9am and was the only customer. Because it was early there was not a lot of hot food to choose from but they did have the packages of rice noodles, spring rolls, and desserts available. I ended up going for the pork banh mi. It’s cheaper than the other Vietnamese delis that I’ve visited at $3.50. The sandwich was pretty good. The bread was pretty decent and the daikon and carrots were nicely acidic. The pork was the best part. It was caramelized in places and had a good balance of salt, sweet, and richness. I would return because I’m interested in seeing what they have to offer in terms of hot food.

Is it the best bahn mi in the city? No, not by a long shot. But it tastes good and it’s cheap (for Seattle). Sometimes a man just wants a decent lunch that won’t break his wallet and this place provides that. Five stars for the value provided.

This pork BBQ banh mi was $6.50 after taxes and $1 tip. It was pretty good, too. Five stars for such a low price for fast, good tasting food. They also have a bunch of other stuff other than banh mi, also for low prices. The owner was cool. Def a good hole-in-the-wall to check out for fast and budget friendly food to go.

I tried their pork and their chicken banh mi. I preferred the pork, like char siu. The chicken had a similar seasoning and also consistency as the pork so I don’t know if it was just old

Wow, what a great hole in the wall! I’ve eaten at so many Bahn places, and this one ranks at the top due to the freshness of the barbecue pork as well as the bread.
