Wonderful place to go with friends. Order food and drinks at the bar. The food was amazing! Perfectly seasoned and portion sizes were spot on. Not too full and not left needing more. They have live music on the weekends and craft cocktails.

We went there to eat. I had the pork belly tacos(not on the regular menu) the wife had the pork taco salad. My tacos were pretty good but I liked the taco salad better. Can’t wait to try the nachos.

Have been looking forward to someone taking over this space. They have done a great job remodeling and building a beautiful bar and restaurant area. Food was great and the drinks were literally on fire! As of this review I think they have been open for about 4 days, and if this is how good it is already, I can’t wait to see how amazing it is as they continue to ramp up. We are so fortunate to have such a quality addition to our restaurant/bar options here in Oak Grove!

We hadn’t stopped into this location for a couple of years. Restaurant has changed ownership a few times. I’m so glad we dropped in! Totally impromptu.

This is a relatively new reincarnation of an old neighborhood bar. I like the new floor plan, it’s a lot more open than when it was the Oak Grove tavern. They do have live music, as did OGT. Neither my wife nor I enjoyed having to go up to the bar to order drinks or food. I prefer having a person come to the table to take my order. My drink.of preference is a Whiskey Sour, which they feature – but they serve it with frothed egg whites… some people enjoy them that way, but I’m not one of those people. The food is Mexican cuisine which I looked forward to but we didn’t enjoy the entree that we ordered, I’m willing to give the food another try but my wife doesn’t want to go back. The food might be just to your liking and if so, I hope you enjoy it.

Man, I REALLY WANT to like this place. Went for the open mic Comedy that was advertised to start around 6pm, but didn’t actually until 8. Snagged some chips and guac that were just “ok”. Kinda highly priced, $20 for chips/guac and sodas.

Five of us walked into a bar. It was a hot Tuesday evening in August, the bar was the Trolley Trail Tavern. We were a young, handsome, newly graduated NYU POC; their mother and their POC father; and their elderly, obviously lesbian aunties. We were immediately greeted warmly. Ambiance? It’s a tavern, a very friendly tavern, a big one.

Great food, drinks, service, and atmosphere, at a decent price. Looking forward to expanded menu, outside seating and live entertainment. This is what old Oak Grove really needed.
