I ordered a steak (35$), Shrimp and Sausage Creole + sides (20$). Total should be around 65 (including tip). When I request the bill, I didn’t get a copy of my receipt, which was weird. My friend and I split the bill. She paid 12$ on her card, so I should be paying 53$, but when I look at my transaction, I got charged 63.35$.

Wonderful place for lunch – not too busy since Depauw classes are winding down for summer. Everyone’s food was tasty and fresh (I had a Caprese Panini.) The wait staff did not pester us but provided what we needed promptly. We sat outside under the pergola which filtered out some of the sun so we were comfortable. All areas I visited were handicap-accessible including the restrooms.

I love the outdoor patio in the summer. In the winter I like to have a drink by the fireplace! On nights with live music it’s a good idea to call ahead and make a reservation just to be safe.

Very cozy and quiet. Slipping into fall, we were lucky enough to be able to sit outside on our first visit. This area is shaded, so I would imagine timing of the weather is going to be important if you choose to eat out of doors. Located off the busy streets with people walking by, just chatting and not rushing around. Reminded me of a small European sidewalk cafe. I ordered the hamburger, the Mrs. ordered a pull pork bbq sandwich, and we both had the home made chips as our sides. Both of our meals were good. If you like your bbq sandwich swimming in sauce, suggest asking for an additional side of sauce. Staff was pleasant and attentive, we will certainly come back and try their steaks and sea food.

Well we had high hopes to try this local restaurant but was deeply disappointed! I ordered the $33 New York Strip(medium rare) …it came more on the medium well side. I wasn’t going to say anything but then again I was paying $33….The server was very nice and said no I will have it remade. The new steak came out minutes later only to cut into it initially looked good but was cold in the center. If you are going to have $33 steak on the menu then I think its best you have a cook that can fire it to the correct order. The server brought the bill and I refused to pay fir the steak that was on the bill she immediately took it her manager and had it removed. Good service
