Food is SO good that it should get a 6th star. At the first bite you can taste it is 100% buttermilk chicken. Everything is made to order so it doesn’t get better than that. Staff was amazing, kind, patient and helpful. Fries have the right amount of salt and the onion rings are battered perfectly.

We decided to try Buttermilk’s Chicken before our long 9.5 hour drive home from Long Island to Toronto and we were not disappointed at all. The music, the friendliness of the man and woman running the place and of course the food exceeded our expectations. I had the Kickin’ Chicken and would seriously consider this as one of the main reasons aside from visiting family to make the drive again. As a family of self-proclaimed ‘foodies’ this place topped our list as great little spots to eat. A hidden gem!

Hidden gem Pretty good fried chicken. If you like KICKIN’ CHICKEN is a great option. Also, the roasted chicken is worth the wait. Better alternative to Pudgies if you are debating the two.

By far the best chicken I’ve had in a long time. It was fresh and seasoned to perfection! Their mashed potatoes and that gravy… oh my goodness!!!! Oh! And their cornbread… and coleslaw…. The list goes on. It was delicious. The owners are such sweet people as well! I will be returning! Worth the commute
