Husband surprised me with a pre bday dinner here. Amazing establishment, beautiful ambiance and decor! The staff was AMAZING! Our waiter Gavin did not miss a beat. Drinks we ordered espresso martinis and the lavender margarita YUM! We ordered the mussels appetizer and house salad! The mussels were GREAT! For dinner my husband and sister had the lamb and the jam on it was phenomenal. I had the special which was flounder with a lobster tail over risotto plated over a tomato based sauce. It was delicious like really delicious. This place is definitely a gem. Food is cooked fresh so expect a wait but the cocktails and ambiance make up for it. Chef sent over a birthday plate for me… such a nice touch also! Will definitely be back bc the tomahawk looked amazing from afar!

My fiance and I came in on Valentines day and got their 5 course with wine pairing menu. The food was fresh, delicious and gorgeously plated. My personal favorite was the black truffle arancini. Oysters were fresh and we enjoyed the toppings they had to complement it. I got the steak and I don’t think I have ever had a more perfectly cooked steak. We frequent fine dinning locally and across the country and the Baker’s Wife is most definitely a top for us now. I wish I recalled our servers name, she was very knowledgeable and attentive. Their wine pairing was perfectly selected to accommodate the menu. Thank you for such a wonderful experience, my fiance and I are both industry workers so we don’t get a lot of time out together and this place gave us a PERFECT date night. We truly have not had this much fun or enjoyed a night out in a while. Highly recommend people to check this place out.

This place is one-of-a-kind! The food is so high-end and exquisite, and the atmosphere is incredible! I’ve been twice with my girlfriends (though it would be awesome for a nice date too) for an evening out. One of the times they had live jazz music, which felt other-worldly and elegant, yet also comfortable. The decor is very “urban chic” with exposed brick and chandeliers, plush upholstery and sleek finishes. Both times I went, I got a cocktail, dinner and dessert, so it was upward of $60 with tip just for me, but it was an enjoyable experience start to finish, and created wonderful memories both times. A splurge that is always worth it!

WOW! 1st time for us at The Baker’s Wife and what a great 1st impression experience. We had a reservation for 7, arrived a few minutes early, greeted warmly and sat right down. Our server, I believe his name was Troy (maybe?) but he was a delight. Shared the cocktail special, but offered his favorites as well and one was the OH LA LA and boy was it!!! Smooth & flavorful!!!

Fantastic food and service! Lots of tasty, fun, and well-crafted drinks. Bread board is a nice touch. Royale with cheese and duck entrees are fantastic, and the s’mores and ice cream and cake desserts are absolute must-trys – coffee-toffee ice cream is completely unique and delicious!

The Baker’s Wife Bistro is seated on a quaint corner in Phoebus Hampton V A.. We have passed this locally owned restaurant several times when we bring new crystals to our friends metaphysical holistic healing store a few doors down (Ginger VooDoo). Today we stopped in to have dinner.

Gorgeous upscale bar and restaurant, outstanding food and service! Richard took amazingly excellent care of us @ the bar. We started off with oysters and tuna appetizer. Delicious! We shared a salad.
