Family stopped by to eat there on our way to visit the botanical gardens not too far away. Parking is shared as it is a shopping center but no problems were experienced. Our waitress Lori did a great job. The inside is kinda of dated in appearance a dark but with its own charm. I give it a 4 simply because it needs some upkeep. We didn’t see any heightchairs at first but they were hiding in the bathroom area. Not the most sanitary place and it was small, dark, and sticky back there. I hope it becomes more inviting maybe a new coat of paint or something or fix small tears in the upholstery. We had pizza and that tasted just fine.

Lives up to its historic record. Meatballs are excellent and pizza was delicious. Carafe of wine is a good value and service was fast (if you get the Sicilian pizza you may wait up to an hour, but enjoy the wine while you wait). Definitely worth the trip and if they will take a reservation, make one if going on a Friday or Saturday. They do close a little earlier compared to other restaurants.

Franco’s has a special place in my heart because my family ate there regularly in the 1980s when we lived in the area. I’m back with my family now and I am glad the restaurant is still there! That being said I found the pizza not as excellent as it used to be. The sauce on the pizza was extremely salty, and the crust was not quite the traditional NYstyle with the large crust (handle part?) that I remember. The cheesesteak was perfect though! The cheesesteak hoagie tasted perfect, but the lettuce, tomato, and onion were in huge chunks instead of the classic thinly shredded. I really hope they can tweak their sauce for the pizza! Great job on the hoagies.

We have eaten here since they opened in the 80’s. We eat at several other Italian restaurants around the area. Day in and day out I would take this over many of the others. I have tried many antipasto salads and this is by far the best, the dressing is the key, by far the best I have ever encounter. Same thing goes for the sausage. Never have I been able to find any as good at any other Italian restaurant I eat in. Now let’s talk about “Pizza Bread”…..you have to go and fine out for yourself:-) we are always happy here. Chairs are a might lumpy (some)….try it out

Food was okay, but not worth the price at all. I noted one waitress lose another customer’s credit card and ours argued with another table then carried that emotion over to us. Was charged for extra cheese we never got and 3 tables seated after us got their food before we even got our appetizer, so food does not come out in order much less at the same time for the table. Will never come here again, but at least the atmosphere was nice.

My wife and I enjoyed ourselves. The pianist takes requests. I loved the francos special sub with fries and the dressing for the antipasto was perfect. Glass of resiling and cheesecake.5 stars.

1st time here and very disappointed for the $. The veal parm was very dry. I asked for extra sauce on both chix and veal. They had hardly any sauce and the noodles I ate were pretty much plain. They don’t even serve real bread. Just a sub roll that seemed like it was heated in a microwave. They employees were more worried about the missing submarine than the making of the food. I don’t believe I’ll eat there again.

This was my brother’s first job while attending high school. believe it or not, 20 plus years later, I went for the 1st time!!! The steak and cheese was AMAZING. The bread was fresh my waiter was friendly and attentive. I can’t wait to return next time I’m in town!

My experience was great! I’ll certainly be coming back in the future! I had the Chicken scarpello with pasta and a chocolate chip cannoli for dessert. They were both excellently prepared and well presented. The service was excellent!

I am really torn about this place. Some things we got were out of this world (tartufo!) but some things were very sub par. My eggplant Parmesan was good, although a bit salty, however my friend ordered a sea bass dish on special and part of her fish was undercooked. The service was great but the seats literally had broken springs and holes missing stuffing from booth seats. As we left a live piano player started playing. It was a very confusing night.
