This place is like sitting in someone’s kitchen. Its very small and quaint. Nothing too fancy. The food was terrific. The prices were reasonable and the service was very personable. My favorite thing was my bean & bacon soup which was no doubt homemade and absolutely delicious. We definitely want to come back to try more things. The menu was huge. I had a chicken salad stuffed tomato too. Hubby had French onion soup and a Chesapeake burger.

We ate a late lunch here and it was a cute small dining room. I got the crab melt with sweet potato fries which was fantastic! The staff was nice but not overly friendly. The desserts they had looked amazing and there were some of the biggest whoopie pies I’ve ever seen!

This was our first time here. The food was good but it was hard to focus on the food as the smell urine was very strong. I smelled it as soon as we walked in and the only table avail was back by the bathrooms so the smell was overwhelming. If they could get rid of the urinal smell it would be a wonderful place.

This family restaurant is fun and friendly. The servers were great and the selection of foods was really huge. I ordered a Prime Rib Burger (Awesome) with sweet potato fries… And offer did it, adding corn fritters and pepper slaw … It was just right; sweet and tangy. Wife got a cheese burger and fries. She said the fries were great!

Went camping for the weekend in the state park. Drove into town both mornings to the same place. Food is excellent. Try the Cream Chipped Beef on biscuit. (Their coffee, however, left something to be desired. But like most hometown diners and restaurants, basic is best.)

We purposely wanted to try this restaurant for their broasted chicken which did not disappoint. Very delicious and tender. The staff all pitched in to help one another with all the customers. The owner was very friendly and wanted to make sure all customers had a wonderful meal. Thank you all for an amazing 1st visit. We will be coming back!
