Looks like a real dump trying to be a fake “Tommy’s Burger” spelled with one “m” not two , Ate here on several occasions growing up in my hometown of garden grove. If Ii were to eat somewhere with same style food for better quality and prices I’d go to Harry’s Cafe off of Dale & Katella !

Tommy’s has been around since I was in high school in late 70 but I didn’t know until 15 years ago. It has my best hamburger, my sons’ favorite breakfasts: steak & egg and egg burrito. Tommy’s price is reasonable, service friendly, food quality fresh and eating area clean.

Buyer beware! The prices shown in the pictures and on the menu listed are NOT the same. Prices have doubled for almost all items. If you’re going thinking you are getting a deal, you are not. Lived around the corner my whole life and decided to grab a burger since its been awhile. The drive thru menu you can’t even read the prices and whats listed isn’t accurate, which they couldn’t do anything about. I know the drive thru lady doesn’t have control over that. They have (or had) good food so I bought anyways. The fries taste nothing like they used to, no special seasoning. Don’t know if they switched owners or products but this isn’t the same Tomys which really sucks. They at least need to change their online menu prices listed and make theyre drive thru menu is readable because double the prices is a crazy big difference. Oh well. Inflation hit them hard, hopefully one day it will be what it was before.

Do these look like onion rings? I didn’t think so either. So my girlfriend order chicken strip w onion rings and gets fries when we say something to the server she gets the cashier to come over to the table who tries to charge us a dollar more for the item we originally ordered. Maybe if the cashier wasn’t so bored with her job and looking at everything ELSE going on I’m the restaurant she would have gotten the order right. This isn’t the first time I have problems with an order here. The cashier doesn’t seem to understand the concept of your customers being the most important aspect of your business. You don’t take care of them, they don’t come back.

The chicken sandwich on a wheat bun looked like a work of art, then I noticed this piece of something sticking out. It was the chicken! It was so thin that it could only be overcooked like shoe leather. I had to trim off the part I couldn’t eat, and there was a small bit of chicken left, about 1/4 inch thick.
