Stopped by Leander Tacos this morning to grab some breakfast tacos for out-of-town company staying at our house. The taco shop is located in the Blaze gas station a few hundred yards South of Hero Way on N Bell… you’d never know the place was there, I found it through Yelp!!! The taco shop is run by a Mexican family, mom, dad, and their two children. Super cute family, and all very nice. I was able to meet them all because I was able to help them get a box off of the top shelf! LOL

The Campechano taco is the bomb! Loaded with meat, incredible flavor, sooooo good! Can’t believe this place is in a gas station! Total hidden gem We loved their red and green sauces, the crispy chips & queso, the guacamole and the chicken tinga taco. My boyfriend enjoyed the steak tacos. The picadillo and shrimp tacos were just ok. I like more saute texture on my shrimp. Can’t wait to get food from here again! Campechano tacos for the win

The worst breakfast burrito I’ve had in 30 years and I have had a LOT of them in that span of time. Chopped up hot dog inside the “Leander Taco” was a very unpleasant surprise. Instead of the advertised 8” tortilla we received two overlapped 5” tortillas. Everything inside was gray and the items were wrapped in foil and then, for some reason, wrapped again in plastic cling film. Nearly impossible to get to the burrito. Maybe that’s where I should have given up, because what was waiting inside of this over-secured package was a culinary train wreck.

Haven’t even tasted the tacos because they forgot to put some of them in our order. None body was here and placed it on the phone. I can understand of they were busy but nope. And I speak Spanish so she heard what I ordered.
