First time I’ve ordered pizza here. We just got back from 2 months in Pittsburgh and had found an amazing and truly great pizza restaurant. We never thought we would find anything near the taste we found there. il Pomod’Ore Restaurant comes very close. They met ALL my sons dietary restrictions. My son absolutely loved his specialized pizza. There was no cross contamination. Though a bit pricey, we will definitely will return. Highly recommend to anyone with dietary restrictions and anyone else looking for good food.

The place is not very big but it’s cozy. The color of chairs highlights the Italian theme. The food was very delicious and the service was excellent. The portion was quite big. I couldn’t finish my salmon The tiramisu was my favorite style (light and creamy).

A big thank you and shout out to Il pomodoro restaurant in East Lyme! We have spent many nights they ever since we met and we were married yesterday! They made the wedding special with their amazing food, and we have so enjoyed their friendship over the last three years. We eat there often. I highly recommend it. The food is delicious here. Both the entrees and the desserts I’ve had are great. It’s some of the best Italian food in eastern CT. The service is prompt and courteous as well. The only complaint I have is that the male staff are not discreet when it comes to checking out women customers.

We stopped in at this little pizzeria and thought it was your run of the mill pizza place. Boy were we wrong! Awesome authentic Italian food. Very friendly staff and great menu. A little pricey but worth the money. They also have a real flame oven. Handicap access and plenty of parking in the rear.
