Great atmosphere. Lovely outdoor patio to relax on. They keep it comfortable in the summer with fans and the great shade tree they have. The live music on the weekends is great! Great people. The staff is top-notch. Super friendly, super attentive, very quick! Great food. I’ve had several dishes off their menu, and I have yet to be disappointed. This place is really a hidden gem. So glad I found it and live close enough to frequent it!

If you are looking a great place to spend a Saturday night, Emil Ermis Grocery is your place. It is a casual/country setting. No it isn’t grocery, it’s a restaurant. You can dine indoors or out. We were there for a party out on the deck. There were about 40 of us, there was plenty of room. There was live music, couples dancing. Lights strung around make for a romantic setting. The food was very, very good. I had the mushroom burger with fries and my husband had a regular burger. Delicious! Some of our group had the Shrimp or Chicken Fried Steak. They could have used a few more servers for a group and the mosquitos were out, but there has been a lot of rain here. Service was a slow, still we look forward to going back to this rare find. It was fun.

Excellent food with an interesting menu. Something for everyone. Healthy fun options and the best fried taters I’ve ever had. The two waitresses on staff were kind attentive and friendly! Can’t wait to go back.

Oh my! Did I get myself in a pickle! Incredible appetizer that you’ll definitely crave again. Amazing food and baskets and burgers. Designed for chillaxing outside on the patio. Owners are wonderful, staff is interested in what they are doing. Thanks for bringing this revamped historic place back to life.

So we are regulars here and I have quite mixed feelings about the place. Let’s start with the good everyone is friendly and try to be helpful, the food is mostly very good we particularly like the cowboy bites and pickle bombs as appetizers, and the burgers as the main course. The atmosphere is great you can find a quiet place on the porch or be inside with all the action depending on your mood and the weather. Now the not so good, going at a less busy time will definitely get you better service. I’m not much of a fan of the flatbreads, and the margaritas are made with wine not tequila (a winearita) we aren’t fans of those either but apparently some people Iove them. They should definitely keep the kitchen open later on Sunday evening especially in the summer. And it feels a bit over priced for the area.

New owners renovated this landmark. Now called Double E Grocery (also a bar and grill) Great food a mile off of I-10 next to St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Frydek TX, near Sealy. We ordered the Double E Brisket Burger and hot Asian wings. Staff was friendly and food was served fast. We enjoyed our lunch on the patio. This great restaurant is family owned. We highly recommend it!

Still working out the menu, soft openings when we went with a limited menu, will give another chance in a few weeks to see improvements, the service was great.

Best patio bar and food around. We drive from Katy and feel like we are far away from the city. Love it when they have live music!
