Well, I visited again last week and decided to get food as well as I had viewed their menu online on my way there. I sat down and waited several minutes to be acknowledged by either bartender, eventually she noticed me and came over. I ended up getting food and by the time I got my bill I realized it seemed a little expensive, so I asked to see a menu. I noted the extra patty on the burger was a little bit more expensive on the menu then online, BUT the thing was it was much more expensive on the bill than both the physical menu and the online menu. Asked the bartender if I could have the advertised prices. She said she didn’t know how to do that, so I don’t think I will be back for some time if ever. I do not appreciate false advertising.

Stopped in for lunch on the way home from up north and was pleasantly surprised to be served the best chicken wrap I’ve ever eaten. Considering the deficiencies the service industry has experienced due to the pandemic I was equally impressed by the service I received by the staff. Great experience. I look forward to making a stop at Rick’s 45 Roadhouse a routine on my travels north in the future.

The atmosphere was amazing and the staff was efficient and very friendly. We ordered food and were very happy with everything we got! The cowboy bites were so good…we asked for a 1/2 order and definitely wished we ordered a full serving. My husband loved the chicken wings and the deep fried cod sandwich I ordered did not disappoint! We would go back in a heartbeat!

Bar has a nice atmosphere and bartender was fun. The food was good but was really skimpy in comparison to the prices. Taco salad was maybe a quarter full and sandwiches had a very small, thin slice of meat on them.

My wife and I were in the neighborhood, drove down from Eagle River shopping for a tractor at Swiderski’s. Stopped into Rick’s 45 for lunch. We both ordered a burger and homemade fries. Meal arrived in a timely manner, however, we both could not eat their homemade fries. These fries were so oily you could almost tie them in a not and would not break. Oil almost dripped off of them. Our waitress/bartender was busy talking to other patrons we could not exchange or return these horrible fries. We finished our burgers, quite good, and beverages then the waitress finally returned. She saw our unneatened fries and made a comment, “You don’t like homemade fries?” I quickly responded to her, “We love homemade fries, however, you need to change the oil in your deep friers! These fries are completely soggy” She stated, “you’re probably right” as she took our plates back to the kitchen. After she returned, she handed us our check, our unneatened fries were still on the bill. Paid the tab, without a tip………….the tip was me paying for food we could not eat. I would recommend stopping in for their delicious burgers, do not order the “homefries”.
