Mr. Officer
I am from NY, the home of a good deli sandwich. It has been very difficult to find a good sandwich living in the South. I use to patronize Jersey Mike’s when it was previously located in Trussville next to the ABC store. When I purchase a sandwich I am always critical of everything from the bread, freshness of the veggies, amount of condiment applied and quality and amount of meat. I have always struggled with the amount of meat that Mike’s puts on their sandwiches. I ALWAYS choose the add extra meat option and have NO PROBLEM paying for it. My biggest complaint has been consistency when it comes to my experience at Mike’s. The place is always clean, the staff is usually friendly, even though it is a challenge to get some of the younger employees to utter a word other than “Next!” But that is common with most fast food places these days Mike’s meats, bread and veggies are usually fresh. Last night I ordered my usual which is a #7( Turkey & Provolone) As I stated, amount of meat and consistency are the problems. I ordered double meat on a Giant #7 and paid $30 for a sandwich only. Most times I am charged $25.43 for the same sandwich. Which I have no problem with. EVERYTHING is more expensive in this day & age. The first picture is from last night and the second is from a previous time. See the difference…! Hard not too.

Terrible experience. Food was not prepared as my order. Didn’t immediately check. Called location. Manager very dismissive and rude. Sent in a complaint and yet to hear from management staff. Very disappointing after spending $20 on a sandwich. Not a good place, I was really expecting a location like Vestavia which always bring there A game. One star is actually too much. That’s how disappointing it was. Soggy wet sandwiches are not good.

Horrible. I give this place no stars if I could give them negative I would. The website and door say they close at 9 and I arrived at 8:33 to get an order to go. All three girls working in there were staring at me like I was the worst person ever coming at this time and then one finally said what do you want. I placed my order then the other girl said we close at 8:30 because I ordered a hot sub and she told her coworker she already cleaned the grill and they shouldn’t be taking anymore orders. They then told me they didn’t have enough chicken to make my sandwich the size I asked for so I settled for the smaller size. They were very rude and slammed things around while making my three sandwiches that literally took them less than ten minutes. I understand they were closing in 30 mins but no reason for you to be rude to a paying customer because your ready to go home just find another job that closes earlier if that’s the case.

I know it’s tough these days and people are stressed but it still dosen’t hurt to greet your customers as they come in and not look at them as they are a bother. Not only was this done to me but serveral customers that came in today. Not one thank you come again.. nothing! This is my first time at this location being that’s its by my house but I don’t think I will be back. The sub was ok but not well put together and after the service I will pass. My first time visiting I think the location near Hoover it was very pleasant. The service was great, we were greeted and food was good. They walked us through the order process being we were first timers. That was the experience I was expecting.. at least a smile, hello or something. But not one staff member greeted any customer from manager to staff. And please tell your workers when they come in to wash hands not just put on gloves and start making sandwiches please. I saw two do this while I was there today. It doesn’t take much to be kind, courteous and clean.

Don’t order online! We ordered online for our office and the app said ready in 15 minutes. Got to the store 20 minutes later and they hadn’t started making them. There was a long line of walk in customers who placed and received their orders before us. When we asked why this was happening it seemed to make to mad. When we finally got back the office after almost an hour from the initial order, the sandwiches were coated in oil…not inside but all over the outside of the bread. The oil made a huge mess and I believe it was done on purpose.

I went into this location Gaston Hwy 11.. The lady was standing at the front counter where the food is prepared SMOKING A CIGARETTE!! THE BREAD WAS ALL OVER THE COUNTER INSTEAD ON THE PAN BEHIND HER. FLIES WAS LITING ON THE BREAD, THE TRIMMINGS WAS NOT STOCKED. .. I ASKED HER , CAN I ASK YOU TO WASH YOUR HANDS. SHE DIDN’T LIKE ME REQUESTING IT. BUT SHE DID. MY FIRST TIME TRYING JERSEY MIKES WAS IN ATLANTA GA. IT WAS SPOTLESS. DON’T KNOW IF I WILL GO BACK . IF I EVER SEE HER WORKING I WILL WALK OUT.

Pricier than expected but that was due to oversight of not checking before ordering. Very good bread, nice mix of ingredients and tasty ingredients.

Service was chaotic. My sandwich was soaked in mustard and that’s all you could taste. Out of the red pepper relish. Everything was offline from doordash, their receipts couldn’t print because of a stubborn printer, and it was an unholy mess for everyone. Then they got slammed. I dined in and they ran out of syrup in the drink machine and it never got replenished, so I spent the meal without my drink which was already paid for. You have to be prepared for things that go wrong in the food industry, guys!

Placed mobile order for curbside pickup. Tapped “I’m Here” waited several minutes. Ended up going inside to pickup my order I assumed they would bring my order out to me. I guess I was wrong.

I had been seeking Jersey Mike’s commercials on TV. I thought my husband and I would give it a try .Well terrible. Mistake the bread was not toasted the meat you can just about see through it it only had a few slices of meat. It was overall a terrible sandwich. The vinaigrette I thought, that they put on it taste just like water. I purchased a foot-long, but could only eat 1/4 of a 1/4 of it, I will never buy another one. From this place It was terrible. I have never eaten anything so terrible. My husband put it in the trash ️ and to think I gave 10% tip only because that is the way they rang it up on the register it shows tip before it show total and I didn’t know the sub sandwich would be so bad. but that’s my bad, never go back again
