The barbecue was perfect and a good portion as well for the pricing. Has a very local feel and service was quick. Of the four sides we got 2 were just ok (white coleslaw and the banana pudding) The mac and cheese was amazing! I would probably get double portion next time. I did not get anything catered. But I have no doubt this would be a great place to cater from. The ice cream on the back of the shop is what really perfects this place tho.

Very good BBQ. Excellent pulled pork, chicken and beef, all had nice clean texture, tenderness and taste (tried them all). Good choice of sauces, we had four at the table we sat at.(We loved “Stallings Secret” sauce) Very atmospheric seating inside this historic 1930s building . We will be back. ️ Thank you owners ❤️

I had the ice cream truck behind bbq place. The banana pudding was AMAZING! It is made with the stores famous homemade pudding. I will go back for this and recommend it to everyone that loves banana pudding. Didn’t give 5 stars bc he gave it to me like this, barley half way filled and topped with whip cream, would have thought the cup would be filled to the top – so that was a bummer. We also got 3 scoops in a waffle cone and it was ok- just regular bluebell ice cream.

Great, inexpensive, barbecue. On a tray nearly as soon as you order it. Try the sauces, all them in fact. It’s got a crazy cozy inside that makes you wanna sit there and drink sweet tea all afternoon.

Rockstore BBQ is a great BBQ house. Good prices, good servings, good people. And now that it’s summertime the annual ice cream truck is back. Now all their ice creams I’ve had are good but if you really want to slide back into a hammock and feel the day go by, get a banana pudding milk shake.
