India on Wheels is a food truck that is conveniently located in Oakland. For lunch, I bought chicken biryani and chicken tikka masala. My husband and I thought that the flavors were OK but not as good as other Indian restaurants. The prices are very reasonable at only $7 for a medium size.

This hidden gem deserves all the praise it can get! The food truck is run by the most wonderful people who create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Their passion for serving authentic Indian food is evident in every dish they make. The flavors are unparalleled, making it the best Indian food in the city. With generous portions and affordable prices, it’s perfect for college students. I recommend the combo special with any of the curries, it really is what they do best. I can’t praise this place enough and I guarantee you won’t be disappointed!

The food is only 5.5$ here! One issue is that the rice is Thai rice, and if you do not like this, no problem. There is another truck next to this car and they sell curry with Japonica rice! I like both.

Stopped by today while at Magee Hospital and really enjoyed the meal. Little to no oil in the cooking and the customer service is a plus as well! The $8.00 combo is the best option. Ample parking in proximity to the truck.

I love this place! The food is excellent and the price is unbeatable. I usually go to the food truck that is parked behind the CMU campus on Frew St, and the line is not usually too long. The people who run the truck are extremely friendly and make me feel very welcome. If I could give 6 stars, I would in a heartbeat.

I knew the food was going to be good, just walking up to the truck smelled great. Food was delicious and plentiful, I could not finish my meal in one sitting. Favorite things I tried were chicken korma and garlic naan. Cash or Zelle only, no cards. Will definitely be returning!
