The food was awesome. We had the pulled pork dinner. Their original & spicy sauces are great on the pork. The pork was a very generous portion. We could not finish the meal because you get so much.

Rib tips were ok, a little tough. French fries were really good. My daughter and her friend liked the Italian beef. My son ordered a tuna melt, and got a cold Tuna salad sandwich but didn’t mind, said it was good anyway. Menu really seemed to have something for everyone with a large variety of options.

This was my first time at Smokey’s, the girls that took my order was so sweet. My order took les than 15 min and they give you a lot of food . The atmosphere took me back some to 60″s & 70″s. I’m sorry I didn’t take any pictures but I will the next time I go back.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Smokey’s BBQ is my go-to spot for finger-licking BBQ in Yorkville! The food is top-notch, and the staff’s hospitality is unbeatable. I’m a regular customer because they always satisfy my cravings. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately we decided to try Smokey’s today. The customer service in terrible. The lady at the counter wouldn’t let me get a word out or ask a question about anything on the menu without interrupting me or cutting me off. They forgot one of the three meals we ordered. I asked if the wings were whole wings and/or breaded. Was told no. They were breaded, which i was trying to make sure they were not. In retrospect i dont even know if the lady herd my question because she was too busy attempting to hurry me along. The wings came out overcooked and mostly inedible. My wife got the pulled pork plate, it came with cold sides (that should have been at least warm) and just was not good in general. I got a refund for my cheeseburger and wings. My wife ended up throwing 3/4 of her meal away because she didn’t want to eat alone and I had all ready been back to the counter 4 times. On the way out the lady asked if we wanted ice cream. My daughter of course said yes since she was starving by that time. She got a soft serve cone with sprinkles. So $21 for 3 drinks, a soft serve with sprinkles, and 5 bites of subpar food. Don’t waste your time on this place.

Wow, I’m in shock. Drove 10 miles from our house to pick up 6 gyros. I knew they closed at 8 but I hurried to get there at 7:50. Doors were locked. So I got in the drive thru line. Pulled up to the speaker exactly at 8:00. Girl says “we’re closed.” I explained I had been in line for 10 minutes – she says, “kitchen is closed,” Meanwhile a man who I assumed was the cook came out to look out the back door and was laughing when he saw the cars; talking to someone inside and laughing.
