I have been on the hunt for a GOOD West African Restaurant in the Fargo/Moorehead area for some time now I feel I finally found it in Five Star African!!! My go-to dishes are the cassava leaves which are always fresh & flavorful with lots of super tender meat and the jollof rice-a stable tomato base African side dish that they always cook to perfection. My mouth is literally watering while writing this review, lol. Also, the restaurant is clean, beautifully decorated and staff is always friendly so lots of bonus points there for service. Seriously y’all if you’re craving African food look NO FURTHER this is the spot!!
