Okay, I don’t like giving bad reviews. However, I have to give it to you honestly. Stoney’s in Prince Fredrick, MD is overpriced and under seasoned. I ordered crab cakes for lunch and the fries were cold the crab cake, while full of crab meat had no seasoning. It is a cute location, a trendy and urban type of neighborhood restaurant. I was surprised that for the price which was at the market price the crab cakes had no flavor (salt and pepper did not help the bland taste) and the fries were cold. So Stoney’s is a no for me. They get two stars for the good location and ambiance.

The food was pretty good and the service was great. I had the shrimp tacos. The shrimp was great – large and cooked perfectly. However, they put a very spicy sauce on them. I scraped off most of it to make it palatable. My husband found a long hair in his crab imperial dish, but they immediately replaced his whole meal. The green beans are the best!!

THE BEST CRAB CAKE I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. Very pricey but the cake is PACKED; I don’t even taste stuffing! The crab dip is so very yummy. Can’t complain. We’ve been here many times and most times we had to wait 45-1 hr for our food to come. The place gets very busy.

Loved the snow crab legs and the crab cake balls. Staff were very courteous and accommodating. We were first time visitors to the area and came during happy hour on a monday evening and the place was growling with customers. Great cocktails too! Will be coming back for sure.

I really enjoyed the food and drinks, I had excellent service. I would have given them five stars. However, my seafood planter didn’t come in a Broil option, but that’s just me trying to make healthier eating choices… it still was delicious and plenty.

We had a great server – Juliette. She was very patient when my friend was talking to someone they knew. We ordered the shrimp and fries basket. 6 jumbo shrimp that were well breaded. Fries were good too. It took quite a long time to get our food. That was the biggest disappointment. When we asked about it, we were told they’d gotten a large oyster order and had just called in another chef.

Stoneys actually exceeded my expectations. We got the crab dip and Salmon Gyro. The salmon was the best I’ve had in a long time and cooked perfectly. I’m picky about crab dip and enjoyed it very much. This is definitely a place I would consider bringing family from out of town, and I’ll be back!

This was our first visit. Just imagine your very first bite in a restaurant you’d never been to, and you get a long stran of hair in your mouth. I guess it was good that the waitress was there. She took my dish back to the kitchen, and it was replaced. Thee rest of our meal was okay. However, we will not be returning to this restaurant.

Waitress never came back after food came out. Charged us 40 a sandwich. We knew the menu said market price but we had ordered the exact same thing at another restaurant the day before and it was $18 for the grab cake sandwich
