I am absolutely FURIOUS right now. My 85-year-old mother just told me that she went to the Hewitt Schlotzsky’s about 4:00pm today, and after placing her order, and as she was walking to a booth, a young female employee walked up behind her and said, “Did you steal my phone from that booth?” As my mom was about to respond, the employee pointed to MY MOM’S phone in the front pocket of her purse and said, “That’s it!” She literally accused my 85-year-old mom of STEALING HER FREAKING PHONE and putting it in her purse. About that time the manager who was sitting at the tall table said, “It is right here,” and pointed to the employee’s phone at the end of that table. The girl just said, “Oh, ok,” and walked off. No apology. No acknowledgement of her mistake. No nothing. I’m so furious I could spit nails right now. If some bratty, disrespectful little employee of mine ever openly accused an 85-year-old customer of stealing her phone like that, and DIDN’T apologize (or actually, grovel) profusely, she’d be fired on the spot. Un-FREAKING-believable. And completely unacceptable!!

Schlotzsky’s in Hewitt is a must-visit spot! The sandwiches are simply delicious, with generous portions and a wide selection of toppings. The bread is always fresh and perfectly toasted. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. A solid 5-star rating from me!

I have food delivered from this location at least once a week. The soup is fantastic, sandwiches are tasty, and I am in love with the Chicken/Bacon/Ranch calzone sandwich. Once they did forget my ranch dressing, but no one is perfect!

I love the Chicken n BBQ sauce pizza. Go on a Wednesday and it’s buy one get one free. The staff are friendly but short staffed, they are trying their best and doing a great job.

I wasn’t asked, as usual, if I wanted ranch sauce, which normally comes with the pizza. So when I remembered and asked for it, they said I’d have to pay 50+ cents which I didn’t have and didn’t want to put on a CC. If a company is doing so poorly that they cannot give a single condiment that goes with an already overpriced pizza, then I guess you don’t need Waco’s business.

Sign lit saying open and employees in moving around at 8:15pm but doors locked. Sign on door says open till 10pm and internet says 9pm. Place needs to update hours to correct times and make sure they turn off sign when closed.
