Super great food with great service! Got the ramen and gyu-don. Made the mistake of getting the sake intro flight without realizing it tastes like straight liquor, but our waitress was amazing and took it off the bill for us. Recommend getting a plum based or fruity sake!

Very nice experience. I have been to the no frills version on Main Street and love it for lunch. We had a vegetarian family member come in town, and I thought this would be a good place to go with lots of options. He enjoyed his ramen. I got a Japanese curry with tonkatsu. It was delicious. I also had a sushi crunchy crab roll to start. Which was also very good. The Wasabi and pickled ginger had a little extra zip too.

I enjoy everything I try every time I eat here. Love sitting on the back patio. Today the crispy tofu don was tasty, the seaweed and kimchi really make it. The plum whiskey was light and delicious.

Unexpected ramen in an unassuming place… walking up to it you don’t seem to expect much but entering and it’s way bigger than I had imagined. The food came out reallll good as well. I live in DC where there’s a serious ramen scene, and SATO can def compete with the big dawgs here.

Really great experience, sushi tasted really fresh and the ramen was excellent. Cocktails were really creative using flavored tea leaf infused ice cubes, if you want some good Japanese food this is one of the many great places in buffalo to go!
