We are a faith-based, locally owned Coffee House, located in Alvin, Texas. We believe the residents of Alvin want and deserve a local coffee house; one they can call their own.

1820 comes from Matthew 18:20, where Jesus says For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.

Our goal is to be as well known for our compassion as we are for our high-quality drinks. With everyone working together as a team, we believe that we can achieve these goals in a pleasant, cooperative, and enjoyable atmosphere.

Espresso & Cappuccinos
Americano Coffee Coffee drink prepared by diluting an espresso with hot water, giving it a similar strength to, but different flavor front, traditional brewed coffee.
Cappuccino A cappuccino is an espresso-based coffee drink that originated in Italy, and is traditionally prepared with steamed milk foam. Variations of the drink involve the use of cream instead of milk, using non-dairy milks, and flavoring with cinnamon or chocolate.
Espresso Complex, aromatic, caffeine-packed shot of coffee mixed with steamed milk.
Flat White Typically features two shots of espresso and is mixed with steamed milk for a bolder coffee flavor than a latte.
Latte – Iced/Hot Latte loosely translated means “coffee & milk”. It can be served hot or cold and is typically a shot of espresso mixed with steamed milk.
Long Black A style of coffee commonly found in Australia and New Zealand. It is similar to an Americano, but with a stronger aroma and taste. Typically made by pouring a double-shot of espresso with a smaller volume of water, making it a stronger coffee flavor.
Whipped Coffee Cold coffee served over ice with a whipped, fluffy, coffee/sugar mixture on top. Stir completely before drinking.
Frappe
Caramel, Hazelnut,, Mocha, Toasted Marshmallow, Vanilla A chocolate drink served with ice or frozen to a slushy consistency.
Drip Coffee
Bottomless Just at it sounds, if you’re planning to stay and drink your drip coffee at 1820 Coffee House, your cup will never run dry if you get the bottomless cup with unlimited refills.
Single Drip Our “regular” coffee, brewed fresh every morning and as needed throughout the day. Coffee made by filtering freshly ground coffee with boiling water.
Red Eye Drip coffee topped off with a shot of espresso, provides a great coffee flavor with a little “kick” of caffeine.
Cold Brew Coffee brewed using cold water typically taking several hours to steep before it’s ready to consume. Typically lower in acidity because the coffee grounds are not exposed to hot water, making it taste more flavorful and less bitter than drip coffee.
Pour Over This method involves pouring hot water through coffee grounds in a filter. Coffee is filtered directly into a mug without the use of a brewer.
French Press Similar to an espresso, this method involves “pressing” water through the coffee with a plunger and built-in filter vs. an espresso machine, creating an earthy, rich taste cup of coffee.
Bag Coffee Beans Our 1820 Coffee House, house-blend coffee. This is the same coffee we use in our coffees (not espressos) that you can brew at home and get the same great taste at home as you do at the coffee house. Our bags come with whole beans and we’d be happy to grind the bag before you leave if you don’t have a coffee grinder of your own.

horrible customer service. asked for a manager on duty to write a formal complaint. no manager on duty lol imagine that. no wonder they harassed me and tried to gaslight me when they messed my order up. the barista literally told me to do better at ordering bc she heard mocha instead of vanilla. maybe the children they have working here should do better at placing a simple drink order.
