The seafood here is PREMIUM! Not crazy expensive either. The flavors are amazing, so much spices. The place is a good size, the upper lever is being fixed so it hasn’t been open but they typically have tons of space. The waitress are very attentive to your needs. Drinks are good here too.

My family and I have been coming here for over 15 years!! We drive from the southeast of Houston to the northside! This place has amazing shrimp and fish fillet! They make the cocktail shrimp with this amazing sauce. I’ve tried other places and it’s not as good as the one they use here.

We have been dining here for nearly twenty years and Tampico on Airline never disappoints. The snapper a la plancha was super fresh along shrimp and scallops. We tried crab legs for first time which were also very fresh and flavorful. I highly recommend this local Houston gem

Got the jumbo shrimp and scallops combo to go. The food was very tasty; the seafood was good. For my combo I chose fried rice, and it also came with a little salad, and bread, too. When I got here, there were 2 buildings with Tampico signs on them, but then with the help of a man directing traffic in the parking lot I found my way to the right location. Good meal!

Wow! The whole red snapper was amazing! Perfectly cooked and spiced, it not only tasted great, but the presentation makes sure the fish is the star of the show. We did have to wait 45 minutes for our food and the service wasn’t great. (Major language barrier) On a funny side note, there are tons and tons of signs about loud children and how they aren’t allowed. The whole dining room is tiled from the floor to the ceiling so I image the echos are pretty intense. So go on a day when you have no kids and time, order the whole red snapper and a few margaritas.

I was in the area waiting for an event and was hungry. I did a quick Google search and landed here. Food was delicious and looking forward to try other menu items. These were about $18 or $19… Stuffed shrimp with cheese and jalapeño. It comes with sides but I opted to have no sides due to my diet. This plate was a little expensive but they had many options that were priced better. Great food.
