I recently dined at this amazing restaurant that offers an incredible array of Mumbai and Indian street food. The menu was a delightful journey through the diverse flavors of Indian street cuisine. I started with the iconic Vada Pav, which was perfectly spiced and served with a topped with special authentic red dry chutney served only in a few places in India. The Pani Puri was an absolute highlight, with crisp shells filled with a burst of flavors that danced on my palate. The Chole bhature was rich and flavorful, reminding me of the street-side stalls back in India.

A bit of a commute from DC but enjoy coming here on the weekends for sweet and savory snacks. Their chole kulcha is a hit or miss – have tried it three times and only once got it right. However, the Paranthas have been consistently good. Usually go for the tried and tested Aloo Paranthas. On the chat side, love their Dahi Puri and samosa chat. The Gol Gappas lose their value for me as they are served in a plate and paani is kinda meh. My wife loves their masala soda. And I usually go for their filter coffee.

My friends and I had a great time enjoying the delicious food. I absolutely fell in love with the super soft, buttery stuffed chhole kulche (see the pic below) and bhel. One of the best places to taste Indian chaat. The owner Mr.Jay and the entire staff are very welcoming. One is always greeted with a warm namaste and smile. Highly recommend this place not just for the food but for the overall Indian dining experience.

Chaatwala was superb. They are polite and respectful. We loved the Dal Pakwaan(lentils with fried wafers) and Shahi Paneer with rice. The Misal Pav was quite spicy, so watch out if you aren’t good with spicy food. Dahi Puri has a lot of flavours too.

Went twice to this fast food place. Decent food, friendly staff, well maintained, great service, and right ambience. Liked their Vada pav, Misal Pav(never had it before) and gol gappa. They were generous enough to give extra chole for bhatura as the initial serving wasn’t enough.
