Truly enjoyed our stop for lunch at this unique eatery just off of I-35 in northern Iowa. The owner is young and enthusiastic and strives to provide top notch customer service. Our food was tasty and delivered very quickly. The Caesar salad was an entire baby romaine lettuce head served with homemade Caesar dressing and tasty, chewy/crunchy croutons. We also ordered the mushroom Swiss burger; well cooked with crunchy onions and house sauce. We ordered several local beers which were also a real treat. Atmosphere feels posh and modern, but we felt comfortable in our “traveling clothes” (Ball caps). Will definitely stop back when traveling in the area.

The aesthetic of the restaurant is STUNNING. The owners are constantly trying to improve and make this the best restaurant possible. The drinks are tasty and pretty to look at and the food is fantastic! It’s a great place to stop right off the Interstate when traveling or a hot spot for the locals to hang! Give it a go next time you’re in Clear Lake!

Service: Two waitresses publicly arguing over who was assigned our table for the night. We also had two waitresses both taking drink orders and food orders, one after the other, because we think they were still competing for the table. My advice would be to not make your customers feel awkward the entire time they are there and clearly review assignments before shifts start. Food: Trash can nachos came out in a literal can that was lifted in front of me to expose the falling tower of chips and toppings all over me and the table. I would suggest rethinking the presentation. There were 6 toppings listed in the menu and I requested to have two withheld. However, they only came out with chips, cold ground beef, and gelatinous cheese. Two sandwich’s ordered at the table were so soggy they couldn’t be consumed or enjoyed. Control the sauces and be sure to make sure to use bread that can handle the amount of sauce and then some. One sandwich was even ordered without sauce and it was drowning. Onion rings were not cooked through and No Diet Coke was available.

Came in for lunch with my mother and walking in the place is big and has a great atmosphere. The service is very friendly and quick. Food came fast and it was delicious no complaints at all and prices were decent. Our server Zana was friendly and on top of everything always checking on us through out the meal l. Defiantly will be back again.

Waited for nearly 10 minutes at the door before any of the staff even acknowledged that we were there. Ordered our food of which they were out of some of items. Our food arrived at different times, and had to ask for silverware and napkins. Actually had to ask twice on the silverware, but one of the two didn’t appear clean. The food was OK, but felt it was over priced. When we went to receive our check we had to tell our waitress what we ordered, because it wasn’t in the system and she had forgotten what we ordered even though our plates were still at the table. I understand that they just opened, which we heard them say multiple times to everyone in the restaurant. It really needs help on the front end of the restaurant. Overall, I’m not planning on returning.

This place will be amazing. There’s still a learning curve to work through. We weren’t served or drinks until after our meals were served, our meals were served at separate times and we were not asked if we needed refills or how our meals were while we ate our meals. The menu is great. The atmosphere is great, flavor was great and our server was friendly and very helpful so we will return.

We went to this very nice bar and grill. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere as well. My food order of Greek salmon over pasta was excellent. My wife ordered the fish and chips, but hers came out later than the ours. They said another waiter grabbed it for a different table. My daughters meatballs were very good, but they were barely warm. Our son in laws steak sandwich was good. It was nice evening at a very nice place.

Great service and good food. We tried the fish and chips and a Greek salad– just be warned that the Greek salad DOES NOT contain the seared tuna as described on the menu was very sad and let down but overall good place.
